We reported the morphology-directed synthesis of Co(3)O(4) nanotubes via interfacial reaction NaOH with pre-fabricated CoC(2)O(4)·2H(2)O nanorods based on modified Kirkendall effect. The as-obtained showed excellent activity and durability in catalytic combustion CH(4).

An N-acetylhexosamine 1-kinase from Bifidobacterium infantis (NahK_15697), a guanosine 5′-diphosphate (GDP)-mannose pyrophosphorylase Pyrococcus furiosus (PFManC), and an Escherichia coli inorganic pyrophosphatase (EcPpA) were used efficiently for one-pot three-enzyme synthesis of GDP-mannose, GDP-glucose, their derivatives, GDP-talose. This study represents the first facile efficient enzymatic GDP-sugars derivatives starting monosaccharides derivatives.
