Abstract The available experimental data for the density, thermal conductivity, and viscosity of liquid titanium, zirconium, hafnium, vanadium, niobium, tantalum, chromium, molybdenum, tungsten have been critically examined with intention establishing reference correlations. All categorized into primary secondary according to quality measurement, technique employed, presentation data, as specified by a series criteria. In case new correlations are proposed tungsten, characterized an expanded...

We investigated the effect of diesel exhaust (DE) on pregnancy and fetal development in mice at day 14 postcoitum (pc) with a special focus placenta. The number absorbed fetuses increased groups exposed to DE, congestion was observed histological sections placentas. During placental absorption expression CYP1A1 mRNA decreased undetectable levels, whereas TNF alpha approximately twofold over that control. Levels normal placentas from DE-exposed were unchanged. levels inflammatory cytokines...

Disordered Pd–Fe alloys show a positive excess-volume effect, contrary to the predictions of Iida–Guthrie model. The effect becomes larger at composition approximately Pd0.5Fe0.5. origin was investigated by using first-principles calculations study electronic structures in ordered and disordered states with two different compositions, i.e., Pd0.53Fe0.47 Pd0.75Fe0.25. calculated partial density for state indicates weakening Pd metallic bonds because fully occupied 4d majority-spin enhanced...

Abstract Effects of Mo back contact thickness on the photovoltaic properties CIGS solar cells were investigated. When was thin, an increase in series resistance and leakage current adversely affected FF (fill factor) fabricated using layers. On other hand, when layer as thick 0.8 μm, sodium out‐diffusion from SLG decreased. The resulting reduced concentration films grown top layers resulted open circuit voltage ( V OC ). As a consequence tradeoff between decreased diffusion for thicker thin...
