Issues of religion are important aspects the identity process, which for many emerging adults may be intensified by college experience. Using a narrative approach, this study explored lived experiences of the process spiritual identity formation among several emerging adult students in secular university settings. Analyses interview data generated rich body information illuminating students' actual processes involved forming across college years. Such findings extend and provide nuance to previous theoretical work on development highlight important directions for future research practice.
