Abstract The epoxy resin/curing agent/montmorillonite nanocomposite was prepared by a casting and curing process. intercalation exfoliation behaviors of resin in the presence organophilic montmorillonite were investigated X‐ray diffraction (XRD) dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (DMTA). For diethylenetriamine agent, intercalated obtained; exfoliated would be formed for tung oil anhydride agent. condition does not affect resulting kind composite, both or exfoliation. nanocomposite, glass...

The infection caused by Fusarium oxysporum severely threatens cotton production. Herein, carvacro-chitosan nanoparticles (CS@CAR) are facilely fabricated using tripolyphosphate as a crosslinker. When the initial mass ratio of chitosan to carvacrol is 2.5 1, show best stability and drug loading. CS@CAR exhibit uniform spherical shape with diameter ranging from ~200 nm. CAR releases 51.23% total content within first 48 hours in simulated fungal microenvironment. contact angle drug-loaded...

Abstract The curing kinetics of epoxy resin–imidazole–organic montmorillonite nanocomposites were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) in the isothermal mode. X‐ray diffraction (XRD) analysis indicated formation a layered silicate–epoxy nanocomposite. cure rates for nanocomposite lower than values neat system at higher temperature (120 and 130°C), as relation between conversion time. These results revealed that autocatalytic model modified Avrami equation are both valid...
