An ultrashort polarization splitter based on the zero-gap directional coupler is proposed and realized. Its interference section 8.8 mum long. It also shown that length of can be reduced to about 2.1 mum. The crosstalk for both transverse-electric (TE) transverse-magnetic (TM) polarizations 16 dB at a wavelength 1.55 extinction ratios TE TM are 18.2 13.7 dB, respectively. device has 3-dB bandwidth 43 nm in 50 with center mu m.
Taking a plateau high-pressure common-rail diesel engine as the research model, model was established and simulated by AVL FIRE according to structural parameters of engine. The combustion emission characteristics D, B20, B50 engines were in atmospheric environment at 0 m, 1000 2000 m. calculation results show that altitude increased, peak in-cylinder pressure cumulative heat release decreased with different blending ratios. When increased reduced about 5%. Furthermore, trend NO, soot, CO...

We report a low-cost electro-optic (EO) sol-gel material with large EO coefficient and excellent poling stability for devices. Disperse red 1 (DR1) chromophore is doped in the three-dimensional silicon dioxide/titanium dioxide network possessing high γ33 (88 pm/V at 1300nm wavelength 71 1550 nm wavelength). Favourable poled (less than 5% relaxed after 2500 hours 80°C) low absorption are demonstrated. Strip-loaded waveguide Mach–Zehnder (M-Z) modulators implemented based on this synthesized...
Sol-gel-processed silica films doped with Disperse Red 1(DR1) were prepared at 80°C aging temperature and 120°C baking corona poling to obtain stable large electro-optic (EO) coefficient film strength. A EO of γ33 = 56 pm/V was measured for the 0.5-μm thickness wavelength 1300 nm, value unvaried room temperature. Moreover, an external probe tip using fabricated first time, a signal voltage level corresponding calibrated successfully.
