An efficient methodology for the synthesis of unsymmetrical biheteroaryl molecules has been developed via Pd(II)-catalyzed oxidative C−H/C−H cross-coupling heteroarenes. inversion in reactivity and selectivity achieved successfully to perform desired heterocoupling. This process allows heterocoupling not only electron-rich N-containing heteroarenes (e.g., xanthines, azoles, indolizines) but also electron-poor pyridine N-oxides with various thiophenes or furans.
Abstract Adsorption, storage, and conversion of gases (e.g., carbon dioxide, hydrogen, iodine) are the three critical topics in field clean energy environmental mediation. Exploring new methods to prepare high‐performance materials improve gas adsorption is one most concerning recent years. In this work, an ionic liquid solution process (ILSP), which can greatly kinetic performance covalent organic framework (COF) for gaseous iodine, explored. Anionic COF TpPaSO 3 H modified by...
A novel imidazolium-functionalized BINOL fluorescent receptor R-1 was developed as a multifunctional for both chromogenic and chiral anion recognition. The different responses color changes of could be applied to the detection fluoride acetate ions by naked eye. Furthermore, recognition two enantiomers α-amino carboxylates also studied, displayed remarkable binding ability t-Boc alanine with an interesting enantioselectivity (KL/KD = 4.5).
The instructive structure-property relationships of ionic liquids (ILs) can be put to task-specific design new functionalized ILs. dicyanamide (DCA) ILs are typical CHN type which halogen free, chemical stable, low-viscous and fuel-rich. transport properties DCA significant for their applications as solvents, electrolytes hypergolic propellants. This work systematically investigates several important four ([C4mim][N(CN)2], [C4m2im][N(CN)2], N4442[N(CN)2], N8444[N(CN)2]) including viscosity,...
The first example of an iron-mediated direct Suzuki−Miyaura reaction between N-heterocyclic compounds and arylboronic acids is described, both electron-rich electron-deficient heteroarenes can be successfully used for the coupling reaction.
α-Diazoesters were discovered to be good electrophiles in a catalytic asymmetric α-functionalization of ketones for the first time. This reaction also provided direct and efficient method C-N bond formation with excellent yields (up 98%) enantioselectivities 99% ee) under mild conditions. The application electrophilicity α-diazoesters opens up novel way access diversity diazo chemistry.
The completely OH-selective Prins cyclization has been realized from the enantioselective ene reaction product. A variety of 4-hydroxyl-tetrahydropyrans were exclusively generated via FeCl3-catalyzed reaction. Excellent stereoselectivities (up to >99:1 dr and >99.5:0.5 er) obtained for a remarkably broad range substrates under mild conditions. control experiments, including NOE effects 18O-labeling studies, as well DFT calculations conducted provide fundamental insights into mechanism...
Few examples of [4 + 2] cycloaddition with unmasked ortho-benzoquinones (UMOBs) as carbodiene have been reported in complex molecule synthesis. Herein we report that this podocarpane-type UMOB was developed and applied to construct fully functionalized bicyclo[2.2.2]octanes. Based on methodology, divergent total syntheses atisane-type diterpenoids, including (±)-crotobarin, crotogoudin, atisane-3β,16α-diol, 16S,17-dihydroxy-atisan-3-one, were accomplished 14, 12, 16 steps, respectively. Key...
Propellant materials genome offers a new approach to the design of high-performance hypergolic propellants.
Materials capable of separating and removing iodine vapor from nuclear fuel reprocessing off-gases are significant to our environment, especially for human health. Adsorption is an effective widely used separation method. In this work, a novel biomass alginate-based composite [N1111][Alg]@MF was fabricated by modifying polymers seaweeds capture. Starting materials such as accessible low-cost. Benefiting abundant functional groups in alginate the high porosity provided MF, adsorption capacity...
A type of 1,1'-binaphthyl-based imidazolium chemosensor module has been synthesized for the highly selective recognition tryptophan (Trp) among eleven alpha-amino acids investigated in aqueous solutions via synergistic effects multiple hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interactions. These results have demonstrated that C-2 atom ring plays a key role as bond donor. The UV/vis, fluorescence mass spectral studies indicated 1 : complex is formed between host tryptophan. binding affinity...
The Brønsted acidity of typical “bio-base” protic ionic liquids, [AA]X amino acid was systematically studied.
Two novel robust covalent triazine frameworks (CTFs) have been prepared, which present excellent irradiation stability, sorption capability, and selectivity for Pd( ii ) at 1–6 M HNO 3 with the highest uptake of 333 mg g −1 .
Abstract In this article, we describe our efforts on the total synthesis of bolivianine ( 1 ) and isobolivianine 2 ), involving onoseriolide 3 ). The first generation was completed in 21 steps by following a chiral resolution strategy. Based potential biogenetic relationship between β‐( E )‐ocimene 8 second biomimetically achieved from commercially available (+)‐verbenone 14 steps. improved features an unprecedented palladium‐catalyzed intramolecular cyclopropanation through allylic metal...
The strong intramolecular hydrogen-bond of curcumin was broken by ionization, and anions form a weaker intermolecular hydrogen bond which is easily disrupted, making it easy to react with iodine new halogen bond.
Along with the development of nuclear power, concerns about radioactive emissions and potential for leakage have been widely raised, particularly harmful iodine isotopes. However, as a significant component air waste, enrichment detection air-dispersed gaseous remain challenge. In this work, it is focused on developing an attraction-immobilization-detection strategy-based fluorescence method on-site volatile iodine, by employing photoluminescent ionic polyimine network-polyvinylpyrrolidone...
