A tri-band bandpass filter using short and open stubs loaded resonators is presented. The first the third passband frequencies of can be flexibly controlled by tuning lengths stubs, whereas second frequency fixed. has been implemented with four transmission zeros, good tri-passband performance at 1.57, 2.4, 3.5 GHz. Measured results agree well simulated ones.
A compact printed differential multiple-input- multiple-output (MIMO) antenna is presented for ultrawideband system applications with band-notched characteristic. The proposed MIMO element consists of a U-shaped microstrip feedline and stepped-shaped slot, on the bottom top substrate, respectively. half-wavelength resonant stub embedded in slot exploited to obtain notched band, whose center frequency can be adjusted by length stub. staged slots among elements are introduced enhance...
A single-layer differential coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed notch-band tapered-slot ultrawideband (UWB) antenna is proposed in this letter. In order to achieve the sharp and controllable characteristic, one pair of half-wavelength stubs slits are introduced inside tapered slot circular patches, respectively. Compared a single-ended CPW-fed UWB antenna, due adopting feeding structure, has lower cross polarization. Since all structures printed on same layer substrate, it can be fabricated easily...
A wideband circularly polarized (CP) 4 × millimeterwave antenna array composed of novel microstrip elements is presented for IEEE 802.11 aj (45 GHz) application. Through introducing the L-shaped branches and truncated corners to element, an impedance bandwidth 24.9% a 3 dB axial ratio (AR) 17.3% are achieved. To clarify effects corners, phase difference amplitude ratios 180° 90° electric field components at point (0,0,r) extracted analyzed. simple compact feeding network designed excite CP...
A novel open and short stubs loaded crossed resonator its applications to cross-coupling filter tri-band bandpass filters are presented in this paper. Based on the lossless transmission line model analysis, it is found that first three resonance frequencies of can be conveniently controlled. Benefiting from feature, utilized design not only a cascaded triplet (CT) filter, but also filter. The offers two tunable passbands one fixed passband. third passband tuned effectively by changing...
A differential stepped-slot UWB antenna with common-mode suppression and dual sharp-selectivity notched bands is proposed in this letter. The adopts stepped slot as radiator to achieve ultrawideband. Under differential-mode operation, the can be effectively excited by feeding microstrip, signals radiated. However, under would not so that achieved. In order notch-band characteristic, quarter-wavelength slits are etched on ground, half-wavelength stubs introduced beside respectively. As a...
In this brief, a class of microstrip bandpass filters (BPFs) with quasi-reflectionless behavior on both input and output ports is presented. A single-port reflectionless BPF proposed by shunt connecting one bandstop filter cell namely one-cell. This one-cell made up high impedance transmission line as series band-pass section shunt-connected band-stop resistively terminated. the operation passband, used to transmit spectral energy, while regarded an open circuit. Besides, out-of-band energy...
Periodic corrugated metal structure is designed to support and propagate spoof surface plasmon polaritons (SSPPs) wave in the microwave frequencies. In this paper, firstly a plasmonic waveguide consisting of oval-ring shaped cells proposed with performance high transmission efficiency wide frequency range. The coplanar waveguides (CPWs) 50 Ω impedance are adopted feed energies or extract signals at both ends waveguide. Then well-isolated power divider constructed based on SSPPs aiming...
Corrugated metal with period grooves supports spoof surface plasmons polariton (SSPP) wave in microwave and terahertz ranges. In this letter, a four-way SSPP splitter/combiner oval-ring periodic structures is presented by using single connection junction. Up to the authors' best knowledge, never reported literature. order verify performance of mentioned splitter/combiner, we have manufactured tested splitter/combiner. The simulation measurement results demonstrate that designed conversion...
Two compact ultrawideband (UWB) slot antennas with band-rejected characteristics are proposed for UWB communication applications. The entire size of both is as small 15 mm × 22 0.8 mm, which smaller than most the antennas. radiator a stepped excited by 50 Ω feed line. By etching half-wavelength and quarter-wavelength from ground plane antennas, respectively, two band-notched can be obtained. potential interference between WLAN/WiMAX reduced. Omnidirectional radiation patterns constant gain...
ABSTRACT In this paper, a dual‐band dual‐circularly polarized antenna based on substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) is proposed. The proposed adopts fusion structure to reuse the whole millimeter‐wave as upper of microwave antenna, which leads aperture ratio 1. size 0.98λ 0 × 0.045λ , where λ free‐space wavelength at low‐band center frequency. Meanwhile, frequency can be adjusted by modifying position vias and distance diagonal antenna. Furthermore, polarization modes right‐handed circular...
This study proposes a differentially fed circularly polarized (CP) antenna with common-mode (CM) suppression and broad axial-ratio (AR) bandwidth for unidirectional radiation. First, the proposed applies two crossed dipoles annular delay-line phase shifters to achieve circular polarization. Second, parasitic patches are used broaden AR bandwidth. Third, of can be effectively excited under differential-mode operation, but not CM operation; therefore, shows good suppression. The simulated...
Abstract Compact dual‐band bandpass filter using short stub loaded resonators is presented in this letter, the proposed resonator possesses advantage that its center frequency of even mode can be flexibly controlled, whereas odd‐mode fixed. A pseudo‐interdigital SSLR implemented with three transmission zeros. Meandering to obtain independently controlled bandwidth at each band. Two experimental examples filters have been designed and fabricated, good agreements are shown between simulation...
