Abstract Die Isolierung von Fusarinsäure aus Fusarium lycopersici Sacc. , vasinfectum Atk. und Gibberella Fujikuroi (Saw.) Woll. wird beschrieben. Verbindung ist identisch mit synthetisch hergestellter 5‐n‐Butyl‐pyridin‐2‐carbonsäure. Zur Bestimmung ihrer Welkwirkung wurden ferner die 5‐n‐Hexyl‐ 5‐Äthyl‐pyridin‐carbonsäure synthetisiert.

Heteroatom-boron clusters with phosphorus as heteroelement are formed in the copyrolysis of haloboranes and halophosphanes. Reaction B2Cl4 PCl3 furnishes mainly diphosphahexaborane P2(BCl)4 1, which, accord Wade rules, is a closo compound an octahedral structure.
Summary Intermittent branched‐chain ketoaciduria was detected in two Norwegian families. All three patients had normal intelligence. One died during an acute acidotic attack at the age of 8 years. The biochemical and clinical data families suggest a separate variant branched chain ketoaciduria. Possible mechanisms genetic heterogeneity this disorder are discussed.

Abstract Copyrolysis of B 2 Cl 4 and AsCl 3 at 330°C leads to the formation closo ‐1,2‐As ( 1 ) further products mass spectral evidence which suggests that they are perchlorinated arsaboranes As 5 , 8 6 10 .
