However, there is limited empirical work substantiates effects journalists. The present study explores the relationship between need for orientation (NFO) and knowledge/misperception about COVID-19 using a two-wave panel survey of U.S. adults (W1: N = 1,119; W2: 543). findings suggest that moderate-active NFO rather than high better predicts individuals' level knowledge misperception. We also found different media use (vertical horizontal media) epistemic beliefs (intuitionism rationalism) have distinct implications misperception COVID-19.
This study extends the literature on how transparency influences news credibility perceptions by examining trust signals at outlet level, rather than story as earlier research has done. We also found negative association between sharing, suggesting have less share non-Dissidents....

Drawing a national survey (N = 1,003), we found that U.S. adults evaluated fact-checking labels created as more than other users. News media were perceived user but not statistically different from algorithms. There was no significant difference between users These findings implications...

Recent advances in generative models trained on large-scale datasets have made it possible to synthesize high-quality samples across various domains. Moreover, the emergence of strong inversion networks enables not only a reconstruction real-world images but also modification attributes through editing methods. However, certain domains related privacy issues, e.g., human faces, advanced along with methods can lead potential misuses. In this paper, we propose an essential yet under-explored...
