Cholangiocarcinoma is a devastating malignancy with fatal complications that exhibits low response and resistance to chemotherapy. Here, we evaluated the anticancer effects of CG200745, novel histone deacetylase inhibitor, either alone or in combination standard chemotherapy drugs cholangiocarcinoma cells. CG200745 dose-dependently reduced viability cells vitro decreased tumour volume weight xenograft model. Administering along other chemotherapeutic agents including gemcitabine,...
Abstract Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is the most common neurodevelopmental of childhood. Although it requires timely detection and intervention, existing continuous performance tests (CPTs) have limited efficacy. Research suggests that eye movement could offer important diagnostic information for ADHD. This study aimed to compare eye-tracking with CPTs, both alone in combination, evaluate effect medication on CPT outcomes. We recruited participants into an ADHD group a...
Pancreatic cancer (PC) is difficult to detect in the early stages; thus, identifying specific and sensitive biomarkers for PC diagnosis crucial, especially case of early-stage tumors. Circulating microRNAs are promising non-invasive biomarkers. Therefore, we aimed identify miRNA build a model diagnosis. For training model, blood serum samples from 63 patients control subjects were used. We selected 39 markers using smoothly clipped absolute deviation-based penalized support vector machine...
This cross-sectional, observational study aimed to integrate the analyses of relationships physical activity, depression, and sleep with cognitive function in community-dwelling older adults using a single model. To this end, sleep, 864 from Suwon Geriatric Mental Health Center were assessed International Physical Activity Questionnaire, Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Mini-Mental State Examination for Dementia Screening, respectively. Their...
Abstract Discovery and verification of diagnostic or therapeutic biomarkers for biliary tract cancer (BTC) is challenging owing to the low prevalence disease. Here, we identified investigated clinical impact a fusion gene, Pumilio1-tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated 3 (PUM1-TRAF3), caused by 1;14 chromosomal translocation in BTC. PUM1-TRAF3 was initially RNA-sequencing five BTC surgical tissues confirmed fluorescence situ hybridization. Expression gene validated an expanded cohort...
In this study, TiO2 nanofibers with a high aspect ratio and large specific surface area were synthesized using the electrospinning technique, effect of calcination temperature on their crystal structure, diameter, photocatalytic activity was systematically investigated. The electrospun, as-prepared PVP/TTIP several tens micrometers in length diameter 74 nm. an average 50 nm prepared after at various temperatures. significantly influenced material properties including grain size area. When...
Abstract Background: Gene fusion occurs when a part of one gene fuses with another by genome rearrangement and may possess oncogenic properties. Bile duct cancer (BDC) are the most lethal malignancy, but lack proper diagnostic or prognostic markers. Our aim was to investigate BDC specific genes found in patient's specimens its clinical significance. Method : We extracted total RNA from five tissues normal same patients. sequencing performed result data analyzed using ChimeraScan, Jaffa...
Isodecylpelargonate(IDP) 추진제의 접착력은 DOA 혹은 DOA와 화학구조가 비슷한 dioctylsebacate(DOS)를 사이의 접착력에 비해 평균 53.2% 떨어졌다. 또한 IDP 라이너가 적용된 물성은 그렇지 않은 추진제에 비하여 영률 값, 인장 하중 값이 각각 15.6%, 4.5% 크고 연신율 성능은 3.9%
Abstract Gene fusion occurs when a part of one gene fuses with or attaches to another by genome rearrangement and the result in may possess oncogenic properties; fused be translated into unique protein that promotes cancer properties. Pancreatic bile duct are most lethal types low 5-year survival rates, but lack proper diagnostic prognostic markers. Our aim was investigate pancreatobilliary- specific genes found patient's specimens. We used TRIzol extract total RNA from seven pancreatic...
