Redox imbalance is an vital mechanism for COPD. At present, insufficient researches have been conducted on the protective effect of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) PM-induced However, whether H2S exerts anti-injury role by blocking ferroptosis and restoring redox equilibrium remain to be investigated. Human lung tissue samples were collected IHC staining, expressions Nrf2, ferritinophagy- ferroptosis-related proteins observed. The WT C57BL/6 Nrf2 knockout mice models established with PM(200 μg per...

Determinations of micro/nanoplastics (MNPs) in environmental samples are essential to assess the extent their presence environment and potential impact on ecosystems human health. With aim provide a sensitive method with simplified pretreatment steps, cooling-assisted solid-phase microextraction (CA-SPME) coupled gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is proposed as new approach quantify mass concentrations MNPs water soil samples. The herein CA-SPME offers unique advantage integrating...

The effect of mixed starter cultures isolated from Suanyu on flavor compounds development has been researched. Microorganism, pH, TA, sugars, nonvolatile organic acids and volatile were analyzed in with or without starters. In inoculated samples, a higher growth lactic acid bacteria (LAB) declining rate pH determined when compared the controlled samples. Besides, levels detected (19342.47, 19852.74 × 106 area units for PS) than those During process, aldehydes, acids, alcohols, esters ketones...

A simple, sustainable, and sensitive monitoring approach of micro/nanoplastics (MNPs) in aqueous samples is crucial since it helps assessing the extent contamination understanding potential risks associated with their presence without causing additional stress to environment. In this study, a novel strategy for qualitative quantitative determination MNPs water by direct solid-phase microextraction (SPME) coupled gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS) was proposed first time. Spherical...

The cone end of carbon nanohorns is removed with a powerful but mild oxidative treatment avoiding shortening and formation any type impurities. Functionalization carboxylic acid terminated nanohorns, amines, alcohols, thiols induced solubility enhancement. Intramolecular electron transfer was probed on soluble functionalized nanohorn−pyrene hybrid material.

Thermosensitive genic female sterility (TGFS) is a promising property to be utilized for hybrid breeding. Here, we identified rice TGFS line, tfs2, through an ethyl methyl sulfone (EMS) mutagenesis strategy. This line showed under high temperature and became fertile low temperature. Few seeds were produced when the tfs2 stigma was pollinated, indicating that sterile. Gene cloning genetic complementation point mutation from leucine phenylalanine in HEI10 (HEI10

Senescence significantly participates in shaping the pathobiological process underlying chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Currently, mechanisms anti-aging effects within COPD of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) are not fully illustrated. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining was performed on human lung tissue to detect expression levels sirtuin 3 (Sirt3), cyclin-dependent kinase 4 inhibitor (P16), and cystathionin gamma lyase (CTH). An animal model including wild-type (WT) Sirt3 knockout...

This research focuses on the removal of nitrite by ultrasound-dispersed nanoscale zerovalent iron (NZVI) particles. The factors affecting nitrite, namely, length ultrasonication time, dosage NZVI, initial concentration, temperature, and solution pH, were investigated. Kinetics studies revealed that denitrification process is a pseudo-first-order reaction with respect to concentration under given experimental conditions. derived activation energy NZVI-based reduction 31.44 kJ·mol−1.
