Purpose: This research paper aims to analyze, identify, and rank critical success factors (CSFs) of digital ecosystems within the road transport industry. The purpose this study is identify evaluate CSFs from a literature review then validate these through structured questionnaire survey find out which are most ones. Methodology: methodology encompasses an international quantitative among customers Europe’s freight exchange market leader TIMOCOM. measures both active influence passive...

Urban areas with industry focused on oil refining activities face significant challenges in air quality management due to complex interactions between local emissions, meteorology, and regional transport. The extraction petrochemical Ploiesti, Romania, played a pivotal role into the development of country since 19th century. This study investigates pollution Ploiesti area focusing particulate matter (PM10, PM2.5) key gaseous pollutants (NO, NO2, SO2, CO, VOCs, O3) using hourly data sets from...

Abstract The spatial and temporal variability of the river discharges precipitation from southern part Romania for 69 years, during period 1931–99, is investigated. study based on (precipitation) data recorded at ten hydrometric six meteorological stations this region. cross‐correlation analysis reveals a seasonal dependence lag time between discharge anomalies, being larger (2–3 months) in winter than summer (0–1 month). correlation EOF analyses reveal consistent interannual to decadal...

Based on analysis of observational data we show that the impact North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) and El Niño–Southern (ENSO) Danube river flow variability shows important decadal variations. A lag‐correlation reveals winter SST from tropical Pacific some regions are significantly correlated with streamflow variations spring summer suggesting a possible predictive skill anomalies in these seasons using as predictor.

Abstract During 2–3 December 2012, the Black Sea and east coast of Romania were affected by a rapidly deepening Mediterranean cyclone. The cyclone developed bent-back front along which short-lived (2–4 h) strong winds up to 38 m s −1 recorded equatorward center. A mesoscale model simulation was used analyze evolution wind field, investigate physical processes that responsible for their acceleration, relative importance stability boundary layer those winds. origin air in maximum center...

Abstract This paper investigates the temporal and spatial variability of seasonal mean maximum air temperature in Romania its links with large–scale atmospheric circulation. The Romanian data sets are represented by time series at 14 stations. large‐scale parameters observed sea‐level pressure (SLP) geopotential height 500 hPa (Z500). period analysed was 1922–98 for winter 1960–98 all seasons. Before analysis, original were tested to detect inhomogeneity using standard normal homogeneity...

The relationship between atmospheric blocking and extreme precipitation in summer Romania during the period 1962–2010 is investigated. Percentile-based indices (R90p) for events are calculated using data recorded at a large number of meteorological stations (98) covering entire country. dominant mode variability these has monopolar structure related to two distinct circulation patterns. The aerosol products associated with the ocean colour missions SeaWiFS and MODIS (both Aqua Terra) are assessed AERONET field measurements collected in four European marginal seas for which fairly large uncertainties in-water have been documented: northern Adriatic, Baltic, Black North Seas. On average, more than 500 match-ups found each basin satellite mission, showing an overall consistency of validation statistics across three missions. median absolute relative difference between values...

Observational data are used to emphasise a 5- 7-yr lag between the main modes of variability in midlatitudes and Tropics. Considering this finding mechanism for quasidecadal based on Tropics–midlatitudes ocean–atmosphere interaction is described. It appears that signal associated with SST anomalies northern region tropical Atlantic transferred through atmosphere it will modify thermal conditions ocean upper layers. In 5–7 years, affect Tropics reversing their sign. The results suggest get...

The aim of this paper is to investigate the trends and shifts circulation types over Romania for 50-year period (1961–2010) on seasonal basis. In order achieve this, two objective catalogues, namely GWT WLK, from COST733 Action were employed. Daily grouped according cyclonicity anticyclonicity used calculate occurrence frequency cyclonic anticyclonic types. trend time series was investigated by using Mann–Kendall test points determined Pettitt test. results reveal that anti-cyclonic...
