Abstract The observed flavor-changing neutral-current (FCNC) processes in the standard model (SM) arise from loop diagrams involving weak charged currents mediated by $W$-gauge boson. It has been known that there exists a disagreement emerged between the determination of |Vub| from inclusive B→Xuℓν decays and exclusive B→πℓν decays. In order to solve mismatch, we investigate left–right (LR) mixing effects, denoted by ξu, in leptonic semileptonic b→u We find new interactions (V+A)×(V−A) induced via LR can explain mismatch values if Re(ξu)=−(0.14±0.12). Furthermore, also effects enhance branching fractions for B→τν B→ρℓν 30% 17%, respectively, while reducing fraction B→γℓν 18%.

We study the dilepton forward–backward and longitudinal, normal transverse lepton polarization asymmetries in heavy baryon decays of Λb→Λl+l−. show that have a less dependence on nonperturbative QCD effects. We try to understand the polarization puzzle in $B\to \phi K^*$ decays with a simple Higgs model associated flavor changing neutral current at tree level. The new interactions can effectively reduce longitudinal $|A_0|^2$. In particular, we find that if couplings of $b$-quark different chiralities are same, transverse $|A_\perp|^2$ receive largest contribution and its value be as large 30%. On other hand, opposite sign couplings, $|A_{\parallel}|^2$ is enhanced.

We investigate the rare baryonic exclusive decays of $\Lambda_b\to \Lambda l^+ l^- (l=e,\mu,\tau)$ with polarized $\Lambda $.
