Abstract In this paper, we present a green, low‐cost carbon material derived from waste biomass (hazelnut shell (HS) and olive residue (OR)) to fabricate binary TiO 2 /carbon composite for improving the photocatalytic performance of under visible light. The synthesis, characterization, applications were performed. Hydrothermal carbonization was used obtain support materials. A series materials based on hydrochar, fullerene, nanotubes has been prepared comparison purposes. Photocatalytic...
In this work, surface-functionalization agents and various salts as auxiliaries were used to improve the adsorption capacity of biochars produced via hydrothermal carbonization glucose, cellulose, hazelnut shell. The effect surface functionalization with different acids bases well neutral on methylene blue methyl orange was investigated using Boehm titration, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy techniques. Surface leads an increase in number...
The present work deals with the study of water adsorption on acid-modified zeolites A. Commercial 4A (Na form) and 5A (Ca were subjected to EDTA dealumination, their structure, textural properties stability checked by XRD, EDX, NMR N2 physisorption analyses. isotherms parent modified forms measured at a temperature 25 °C up relative pressure 0.9. results show that treatment drastically changes structural increases capacity 10%. depend type extra-framework cations (Na+ Ca2+) concentration.
Abstract The development of efficient TiO 2 ‐based photocatalysts for water treatment is mainly performed by doping with transition metals or establishing junctions between different phases, metal–semiconductor semiconductor–semiconductor. We present, the first time, synthesis Zr‐ and Mn‐modified a redesigned sol–gel technique that allows formation heterometallic bridges on surface. Cations are located in pores mesoporous anatase attached to crystalline walls. presence Zr enhances...
