We report on the creation of a database for quarkonium and open heavy-flavour production in hadronic collisions. This database, made as collaboration between HepData ReteQuarkonii network integrating activity I3HP2 7th Framework Programme, provides an up-to-date review quarkonia existing data. first present physics motivation this project, which is connected to aim network, studies hadrons nucleus-nucleus Then we give general overview describe particle physics, framework database. Finally...
This document summarizes the prospective physics plans of French QCD and Heavy-Ion community, including experimental programs at LHC Run 5 beyond future colliders CERN, within context contribution to update European Strategy in Particle Physics (ESPPU 2025), as discussed workshop on for Update 2025 organised by GdR Oct. 2024.
We report on the first measurement of J/Psi production as a function charged particle pseudo-rapidity density dN_ch/d_eta in pp collisions at sqrt{s} = 7 TeV with ALICE experiment LHC. mesons are detected down to p_T 0 via their decays into e+e- pairs mid-rapidity (|y| < 0.9) and mu+mu- forward rapidity (2.5
ALICE is the LHC experiment devoted to study of Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). To probe this high energy density state strongly interacting matter expected be produced in heavy-ion collisions at energies, measurements performed various systems (pp, p-Pb and Pb-Pb) are compared each other. Heavy quarks initial hard partonic scatterings on a short time scale participate subsequent evolution medium. This makes them sensitive probes QGP. With ALICE, open heavy flavours studied using D mesons (D$^0$,...

We discuss a theoretical scheme that accounts for bulk matter, jets, and the interaction between two. The physical picture of our approach is following: Initial hard scatterings result in mainly longitudinal flux tubes, with transversely moving pieces carrying pt partons from scatterings. These tubes constitute eventually both matter (which thermalizes, flows, finally hadronizes) according to some criteria based on partonic energy loss. High tube segments will leave fluid, providing jet...
