We present predictions for the cross sections of coherent $J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ photoproduction in lead-lead and oxygen-oxygen ultraperipheral collisions (UPCs) as a function rapidity at LHC framework collinear factorization next-to-leading order (NLO) perturbative QCD. Taking generalized parton distribution functions their forward limit using EPPS21, nNNPDF3.0, nCTEQ15WZSIH nuclear functions, we update our recent results Pb-Pb collisions, make detailed O-O several beam energy...

We present the first next-to-leading-order (NLO) perturbative QCD (pQCD) study of rapidity-differential cross sections coherent exclusive photoproduction $J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ mesons in heavy-ion ultraperipheral collisions (UPCs) at CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC), $d\ensuremath{\sigma}/dy(\text{Pb}+\text{Pb}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\text{Pb}+J/\ensuremath{\psi}+\text{Pb})$. For this, we account for photon-nucleon NLO forward limit, $t$ dependence using a standard nuclear form factor, and...

We compare the cross section for exclusive $J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ photoproduction calculated at next-to-leading order (NLO) in collinear factorization approach with HERA and LHCb data. Using optimum scale formalism together subtraction of low ${k}_{t}$ contribution (below input ${Q}_{0}$) from NLO coefficient function to avoid double counting, we show that existing global parton distribution functions (PDFs) are consistent data within their uncertainties. This is first time production were...

The low $x$ behavior of the gluon density $xg(x,{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{2})$ at scale ${\ensuremath{\mu}}^{2}=2.4\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{GeV}}^{2}$ is determined using exclusive $J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ production data from HERA and LHCb within framework collinear factorization next-to-leading order (NLO). We discuss the exclusive $J/\psi$ photoproduction process, as measured recently at LHCb, a means of constraining and ultimately determining low $x$ $Q$ gluon PDF. The scale dependence theoretical prediction for this process is shown to be systematically improved via taming known $\overline{\text{MS}}$ result, amounts resumming logarithmically enhanced small-$x$ terms implementing small-$Q$ power correction. cross section level predictions allow behaviour PDF in $(x, Q)$ domain determined.
