Osteoarthritis (OA) is a type of highly prevalent heterogeneous degenerative disease that leads to joint pain, deformity, the destruction articular cartilage, and eventual disability. The current treatment strategies for OA often suffer from systemic side effects, poor anti-inflammatory efficacy, persistent pain. To address these issues, we develop light-inducible nanomedicine enables co-delivery drug (diacerein, DIA) small interfering RNA (siRNA) targeting nerve growth factor (NGF) pain...
Abstract Gemcitabine (Gem) has been recommended as a first-line clinical chemotherapeutics for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) treatment. Gem treatment could generate chemoresistance associated with abnormal expressions of multiple miRNAs. In the PDAC setting, miRNA-21 (miR-21) overexpression is an important contributing factor inducing chemoresistance. Inhibition miR-21 can significantly increase chemosensitivity, which requires efficient delivery platform to conduct combinational...
