The corrosion behavior of the diffusion zinc coatings based on δ-phase FeZn7-10 in a solution 3 wt.%NaCl water was studied using electrochemical and physicochemical methods.Initial involves selective dissolution from δ-phase.As exposure duration increases, both components coating alloy dissolve. The nature properties product layer were under conditions simultaneous components.Iron can accumulate products during prolonged coatings. In this case, chemical composition electrolyte near electrode...
The results of the studies phase formation and structural state diffusional zinc coatings formed in powder with nanocrystallized surface particles are presented. sequence iron-zinc phases during process has been established, which is reciprocal those obtained annealing "hot dip" coatings. microstructure δ-phase coating, a change its texture parameters through thickness coating have studied.
The features of the growth and structure diffusion zinc coatings in process galvanizing powders with nanocrystallized surface area, alloyed iron, are studied. It is established that increase iron content powder substantially increases area solid solution at a constant speed rate layer zinc-iron phases. This effect accompanied by change morphology particles as result saturation.
To obtain anti-corrosive thermo-diffusion zinc coatings, the authors use highly effective saturating mixtures. This technology makes it possible to coatings with a high content in δ-phase as well zinc-rich phase of FeZn 13 (ζ-phase) on coating surface. As result long-term studies into corrosion properties (TDZ) conducted by authors, number features their corrosive behavior have been established. The rate those desalted and chloride-containing media is lower than galvanic or hot-dip coatings.The...
The production, composition, wear resistance and corrosion of thermal diffusion zinc coatings produced at JSC PNTZ are considered. Specially treated powders with nanocrystallized oxide on the surface particles used in production. process is capable to provide unique composition microstructure coatings. results laboratory field tests show excellent characteristics conditions typical for oil industry.
Diffusion galvanizing is widely used in the pipe industry for coating threaded surface of couplings, protecting water and gas pipelines, other metal products. coatings have a number advantages over types zinc coatings. In this work, electrochemical gravimetric methods are to study corrosion behavior diffusion sodium chloride solutions. The rate depends non-linearly on thickness coating. At initial stages, structure phases surface, with an increase holding time, greater extent properties...
The kinetics of and mechanism for galvanising low-carbon steel (0.2% C) were examined in powder media which pre-treated to obtain a fine nanostructured ZnO layer on the surface zinc particles. effective diffusion coefficient Zn atoms through shell was estimated be order 1·10-10 m2·s-1. contribution Zn-gas evaporation/condensation microprocesses, could occur relation above layer, evaluated with numerical calculations temperature range 550–950 K an average particle size up 100 nm. Our results...
The construction and subsequent operation of oil gas wells is not complete without oil-well tubing. Tough requirements are imposed on threaded joints tubing: ensuring the required level wear resistance during multiple make-up-breakout cycles while maintaining tightness joint. In this work, it proposed to apply a coating formed by thermal diffusion galvanizing with application an additional surface layer fluoropolymer cladding flexible tool as dry solid lubricating coating. resulting...
The corrosion behaviour of diffusion iron-zinc coatings various thickness and chemical composition in an alkaline medium was studied, using gravimetric measurements, electrode potential measurement, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray spectral diffraction analysis. The study metal alloys media is interest both from the point view protection structures aggressive solutions selective dissolution components to obtain promising nanosized materials.Diffusion were obtained zinc powders, particles...
The article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the technological processes nanogalvanizing, in terms composition and microstructure diffusion zinc coatings, obtain necessary corrosion mechanical properties. Three industrial have been considered, it shown that they give range profiles types for coating. Based on results analysis, promising areas technology application are identified.
