Abstract Having a comprehensive understanding of population structure, genetic differentiation and demographic history is important for the conservation management threatened species. High‐throughput sequencing (HTS) provides exciting opportunities to address wide range factors genetics. Here, we generated HTS data identified 266,884 high‐quality single nucleotide polymorphisms from 82 individuals Cupressus chengiana , assess genomics across species' full range, comprising Daduhe River...
Four hydrophobic bacteria were isolated from sediment at Guiyu, an electronic-waste recycling site in southeastern China. The isolates had high cell surface hydrophobicity with microbial-adhesion-to-hydrocarbon score of 71.4 %. 16S rRNA gene sequences the strains all showed highest similarity to hydrophilic Sphingobium xenophagum DSM 6383T (99.9 % sequence similarity), followed by Sphingobiumczechense 25410T (97.1 %). However, DNA-DNA hybridization revealed that and S. exhibited low...
Achnanthidium sinense sp. nov., a new diatom species from the Wuling Mountains Area, central China, was studied by light and scanning electron microscopy. The valvar dimensions of this are relatively large with respect to average Achnathidium taxa. valves narrowly lanceolate round, acute apices. Only few striae in middle part both can be resolved under axial area raphe valve is linear-lanceolate distal fissures hook towards same side valve. Striae slightly radiate throughout except at apices...
The gut-derived hormone Fibroblast growth factor 19 (FGF19) could regulate glucose metabolism and is induced by bile acids (BAs) through activating Farnesoid X Receptor (FXR). FGF19 was found to decrease in subjects with isolated-impaired fasting (I-IFG) type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). However, the reason for change of different glucometabolic status remained unclear. Here we measured six BAs including chenodeoxycholic acid (CDCA), cholic acid, deoxycholic their glycine conjugates levels...
Understanding the population genetics and evolutionary history of endangered species is urgently needed in an era accelerated biodiversity loss. This knowledge most important for regions with high endemism that are ecologically vulnerable, such as Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (QTP).The genetic variation 84 juniper trees from six populations Juniperus microsperma one erectopatens, two narrow-endemic junipers QTP sister to each other, was surveyed using RNA-sequencing data. Coalescent-based analyses...
A Gram-negative, non-motile, non-spore-forming, aerobic and short rod-shaped bacterial strain R32T, was isolated from seawater of the South Atlantic Ocean. Strain R32T grew at 10-40 °C (optimum 28 °C), pH 6.0-8.0 7.0), in presence 3-8 % NaCl (w/v) 5 %). Cells were oxidase- catalase-positive. The 16S rRNA gene sequence shared highest similarities with Mesonia oceanica (98.3 %), followed by Salegentibacter salarius (93.0 mishustinae (92.8 salegens (92.5 %) maritima (92.4 dominant fatty acids...
The complete chloroplast genome of Juniperus squamata, a shrubby conifer ornamental value, is determined in this study. size 127,792 bp length. contains 118 genes, including 82 protein-coding 32 transfer RNA and four ribosomal genes (16S RNA, 23S 4.5S 5S RNA). It does not contain inverted repeat (IR) sequence. overall GC content J. squamata cpDNA 35.1%. phylogenetic analysis suggests its close relationship with recurva tibetica from Himalaya the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, respectively. may...
The complete chloroplast (cp) genome sequence of Sinosenecio oldhamianus, a common medicinal plant is widely distributed in South China. plastome 150,926 bp length, with one large single-copy region 94,588 bp, small 18,130 and two inverted repeat (IR) regions 24,852 bp. It contains 134 genes, including 87 protein-coding 8 ribosomal RNA, 37 transfer RNA. phylogenetic tree shows that this species sister to the genus Ligularia. published within provides significant insight for elucidating...
This paper uses the GIS technology to collect location and geographic information of South Atlantic ecological environment then remote sensing image extract analyse collected provide a strong basis for maintaining healthy marine environment. Based on multitemporal images, this constructs an vulnerability evaluation model by coupling several indicators, analyses status its dynamic changes, explores driving factors further relationship between vulnerability, land use landscape patterns,...
This paper presents the working principle of CCHP system, and establishes static mathematical models Gas engine, LiBr absorption chiller, boiler Centrifugal water chiller. In this paper, it optimization model that makes minimum annual total costs as optimize targets energy balance constraint condition; takes core area a tourist resort in Shanghai user end, uses MATLAB software to analysis research case, gets cost operating strategy.
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy has served as a powerful analytical tool for studying molecular structure and dynamics in chemistry biology. However, the processing of raw data acquired from NMR spectrometers subsequent quantitative analysis involves various specialized tools, which necessitates comprehensive knowledge programming NMR. Particularly, emerging deep learning tools is hard to be widely used due sophisticated setup computation. Thus, not an easy task chemist...
