Abstract Quantum random numbers distinguish themselves from others by their intrinsic unpredictability arising the principles of quantum mechanics. As such they are extremely useful in many scientific and real-world applications with considerable efforts going into realizations. Most demonstrations focus on high asymptotic generation rates. For this goal, a large number repeated trials required to accumulate significant store certifiable randomness, resulting latency between initial request...

Frequency translation of single photons while preserving their quantum characteristics is an important technology for flexible networking photonic communication systems. Here we demonstrate a scheme to interface different-color using optical sideband (OSSB) modulator. By changing the radio-frequency signal that drives modulators, can easily shift and precisely tune frequency photons. Using OSSB modulator, successfully erased distinguishability non-degenerated photon pairs obtain...

Multipartite entanglement is a critical resource in quantum information processing that exhibits much richer phenomenon and stronger correlations than bipartite systems. This advantage also reflected its multi-user applications. Although many demonstrations have used photonic polarization qubits, polarization-mode dispersion confines the transmission of qubits through an optical fiber. Consequently, time-bin particularly important role to play communication Here, we generate three-photon...

Abstract Quantum correlations between spatially separated parts of a d -dimensional bipartite system ( ≥ 2) have no classical analog. Such correlations, also called entanglements, are not only conceptually important, but profound impact on information science. In theory the violation Bell inequalities based local realistic theories for systems provides evidence quantum nonlocality. Experimental verification is required to confirm whether extremely large dimension can possess this feature,...
