ABSTRACT Background While teleconsultation has proven feasible for adult cancer patients, its utility in childhood care India is unknown. This study assesses caregiver satisfaction, feasibility, and the economic impact of children with cancer. Procedure mixed methods was conducted pediatric outpatient service at a tertiary center India. Routine teleconsultations were performed via telephone or email. Caregivers who received during period 6 months prior interviewed by phone. Data collected...
ABSTRACT This article, describe the synthesis of 4‐ethynylaniline derived 1,2,3‐bis‐triazole ( 3 ) via Cu(I) catalyzed click reaction and various spectroscopic methods such as FT‐IR, TGA, 1 H 13 C NMR, mass spectrometry are used for characterization. The probe exhibits high sensitivity selectivity to Sn (II) in UV–visible spectroscopy, with a limit detection 27 μM association constant 8.32 MM −1 , respectively. synthetic sensor practical application was further explored by detecting real...
ABSTRACT Iron deficiency (ID) is a top five leading cause of disability‐adjusted life‐years in women reproductive age around the world. Despite its enormous health burden, no screening guidelines exist for detection and treatment ID age. We sought to determine cost‐effectiveness versus United States. A lifetime simulation was conducted using Markov cohort model under three strategies: (1) screening, (2) at ferritin threshold 15 μg/L, (3) 25 from US system perspective, willingness‐to‐pay $100...
Prophylaxis goals for patients with severe hemophilia A encompass advancement toward the hemophilia-free mind (freedom from bleeding, pain, arthropathy, and treatment burden). Efanesoctocog alfa, first ultra-long half-life factor VIII agent that enables once-weekly prophylaxis, shows a 77% improvement in annualized bleeding rate compared standard-care prophylaxis. To evaluate conventional distributional cost-effectiveness of prophylaxis efanesoctocog alfa versus (standard extended half-life)...
India has experienced the second largest outbreak of COVID-19 globally, yet there is a paucity studies analysing contact tracing data in region which can optimise public health interventions (PHI's).
Abstract Background Bariatric surgery can alleviate cardiovascular risk via effects on disease (CVD) factors such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. Our study aimed to assess the cholesterol efflux capacity (CEC) of HDL a negative factor for CVD in individuals with obesity identify associated improvement CEC 3 months following bariatric surgery. Methods We recruited 40 control (mean BMI 22.2 kg/m 2 ) 56 obese 45.9 ). The biochemical parameters, inflammatory status was...
Case fatality rate (CFR) and doubling time are important characteristics of any epidemic. For coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), wide variations in the CFR have been noted among various countries. Early epidemic, calculations involving all patients as denominator do not account for hospitalised who ill will die future. Hence, we calculated cumulative (cCFR) using only whose final clinical outcomes were known at a certain point. We also estimated daily average time. Calculating this method...
Objectives To assess the cost-effectiveness of addition olanzapine to a prophylactic antiemetic regimen containing aprepitant, dexamethasone and ondansetron among children receiving highly emetogenic chemotherapy (HEC) in India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, UK USA. Methods Health states were estimated using individual patient-level outcome data from randomised trial. The incremental cost–utility ratio (ICUR), net monetary benefit (NMB) calculated patient perspective for One-way sensitivity...
AbstractThe study aims to evaluate the cause of cervical cancer in a cohort patients and establish whether or not human papillomavirus (HPV) is leading risk factor determine c-myc oncogene over-expression predicative marker for disease. Cone biopsy samples are examined from 53 diagnosed with either adenocarcinoma squamous cell carcinoma cervix. Results showed that 19% studied were positive high-grade HPV 18 DNA by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). For gene expression, only three (23%) 13...
Abstract Background and Objectives The involvement of medical students in strategies to control COVID-19 might be considered cope with the shortage healthcare workers. This study aims at assessing level knowledge about COVID-19, willingness volunteer, potential areas reasons for deterrence towards volunteering among students. Methods A cross-sectional was conducted undergraduate a tertiary care teaching hospital New Delhi. web-based questionnaire used elicit demographic information,...
Abstract Background Aprepitant has been shown to reduce chemotherapy‐induced nausea and vomiting in children receiving highly emetogenic chemotherapy (HEC). In this study, we assessed the cost‐effectiveness of aprepitant for HEC India, United Kingdom, States. Procedure We utilized individual patient‐level outcome data from a pediatric randomized trial, which demonstrated superiority an aprepitant‐based anti‐emetic prophylaxis over standard ondansetron dexamethasone HEC. Health state each day...
Aim: The present study aimed at introducing high yielding clones of commercially important short rotation tree species such as Casuarina junghuhniana under arid and semi-arid conditions North India investigating their adaptability, growth productivity potential for identification superior cultivation. Methodology: Nine Casuarina, four five inter-specific hybrid C. equisetifolia x junghuhniana, were introduced from the Institute Forest, Genetics Tree Breeding, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu planted...
10075 Background: The non-inferiority of single-dose fosaprepitant to a three-day oral aprepitant-based anti-emetic regimen for pediatric patients receiving high emetogenic chemotherapy (HEC) has not been demonstrated. cost-effectiveness these regimens with respect each other in India and the United States (US) is unknown. Methods: Individual patient data from an investigator-initiated, open-label, randomized control trial was used estimate health states. total costs quality-adjusted life...
1549 Background: Telemedicine has emerged as a crucial solution to addressing health care disparities, especially in countries like India where healthcare disparities are pronounced and specialist is concentrated urban areas. Methods: We conducted mixed-methods study among caregivers of children with cancer who had utilised telemedicine the past 6 months. Telephonic quantitative interviews collected information on diagnosis, current treatment status, residence socio-economic parameters. A...
e12516 Background: Incorporating adjuvant cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4/6 inhibitors abemaciclib and ribociclib along with endocrine therapy has been shown to improve invasive disease-free survival (iDFS) for hormone receptor-positive (HR+) human epidermal receptor 2 negative (HER2-) early breast cancer (EBC). This study assesses the cost-effectiveness of this strategy, aromatase (AI) from an Indian perspective. Methods: A Markov chain model evaluated letrozole compared alone HR+/HER2- EBC...

In this paper, linear and non-linear stiff systems of ordinary differential equations are solved by the classical Adomian decomposition method (ADM) multistage (MADM). The MADM is a technique adapted from standard where ADM converted into hybrid numeric-analytic called tested for several examples. Comparisons with an explicit Runge-Kutta-type (RK) demonstrate limitations promising capability solving initial value problems (IVPs).
