Chiral bicyclic guanidine 1 was found to be an excellent catalyst for reactions between anthrones and various dienophiles. The can tolerate a range of substituents substitution patterns, making several anthrone derivatives suitable this reaction. Both Diels-Alder Michael adducts were obtained in yields, high regioselectivities, enantioselectivities. This is the first case highly enantioselective base-catalyzed

Silver nanoparticles have attracted great interests widely in medicine due to its characteristics of antibacterial activity. In this research, the activity and biocompatibility a topical gel synthesized from polyvinyl alcohol, chitosan, silver were studied. Hydrogels with different concentrations (15 ppm, 30 60 ppm) evaluated compare their activity, nanoparticles’ sizes, vivo behaviors. The resulted hydrogel characterized by TEM showing sizes less than 22 nm. vitro results prove that effects...

In this study, chitosan nanoparticles were used as a carrier for Protocatechuic acid (PCA) to resist Pyricularia oryzae against rice blast. The final compound was characterized using zeta potentials its surface electricity, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) analysis and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) conducted functional groups particle sizes shape, respectively. potential results showed that loading PCA causes nanoparticle (CSNP) decrease in electrons. TEM images revealed the size...

Ru(II)-diimine complexes covalently attached near the heme active site of P450 BM3 enzymes have been used to rapidly inject electrons and drive selective C-H functionalization upon visible light irradiation. Herein, we generated a series hybrid containing photosensitizer general formula [Ru(4,4'-X2bpy)2(PhenA)]2+ where X = Cl, H, tBu, Me OPhe, OMe, or NMe2, bpy 2,2'-bipyridine, PhenA 5-acetamido-1,10-phenanthroline. We then probed effect electron-withdrawing -donating groups at para position...

The development of highly active acid–base catalysts for transfer hydrogenations biomass derived carbonyl compounds is a pressing challenge. Solid frustrated Lewis pairs (FLP) catalysis possibly solution, but the this concept still at very early stage. Herein, stable, phase-pure, crystalline hydrotalcite-like were synthesized by incorporating cerium cations into layered double hydroxide (MgAlCe-LDH). Besides insertion well-isolated centers surrounded hydroxyl groups, formation vacancies near...

Automated vehicle (AV) technology may potentially improve road safety, independence, and mobility in older drivers with cognitive impairment (CI). Physiological sensors will be useful to provide feedback of the driver state AV controller system. The aim this study was compare changes cortical activity recorded using electro-encephalography (EEG) during conditional automation between adults normal cognition (NC) CI. Fourteen (age 72.43 (6.00); 10 (71%) women; nine NC five CI) completed two...

This study evaluates the accuracy of an equivalent linear model in predicting peak nonlinear time-history displacement seismic isolation systems with single friction pendulum bearings. To perform this evaluation, dynamic response numerical models 120 subjected to 390 strong earthquake ground motions, including motions pulse and without pulse, was analyzed statistically processed. The results show that can partly predict its counterpart model. However, also underestimate or overestimate...

Breast cancer is a well-known health issue that has been major focus for healthcare professionals quite some time. Still, the most common noninvasive diagnostic tool - mammography results in high false positive rate along with risks of exposure to radiation. These disadvantages are magnified and become more severe when screenings done repeatedly. To tackle this problem, we introduce novel framework uncomplicated diagnosis breast cancer. Our method utilizes analytical technique Mueller matrix...

Two-linked robot arm is a popular model in both laboratory and actual industry. This MIMO system which has the same number of inputs outputs. Because interactions between variables, normal SISO control algorithms, such as PID algorithm, do not prove their effectiveness process operation. In this paper, we propose using method sliding algorithm to two-linked tracking expected trajectories. Results controlling are proved be successful through Matlab/Simulink.
