In this article, we examine the social networks that enable working children on streets of Addis Ababa to cope and exercise agency under adverse circumstances. Based qualitative interviews with 45 children, explore how they take part in new existing networks. We analyse work explain help individual child attain physical economic security, secure living quarters, food supply, formal informal schooling. Finally, discuss what extent can be considered as capital for children.
