Clusterfullerenes represent a novel branch of endohedral fullerenes, which are characterized by robust fullerene cage with metal clusters encaged in its hollow. Since the discovery nitride clusterfullerenes (NCFs) 1999, family has been significantly expanded within past decade, new members including carbide (CCFs), hydrocarbide (HCCFs), oxide (OCFs), sulfide (SCFs), and carbonitride (CNCFs). We first present classification list all reported to date. For each type clusterfullerenes, we review...

Carbon monoxide can cause severe harm to humans even at low concentrations. Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) carbon gas sensors have excellent sensing performance regarding sensitivity, selectivity, response speed, and stability, making them very desirable candidates for monitoring. However, MOS generally work temperatures higher than room temperature, need a heating source that causes high power consumption. High consumption is great problem long-term portable monitoring devices...

The rapid development of signal processing technology has improved the stability and anti-interference ability gas sensors in electronic noses (E-noses). However, interference noise caused by temperature humidity environment are still inevitable real detection conditions, which can cause data fluctuation during recognition process. In traditional pattern recognition, would reduce difference between extracted features accuracy classification. This study proposes a 1-D convolutional neural...

Since the first proposal that fullerenes are capable of hosting atoms, ions, or clusters by late Smalley in 1985, tremendous examples endohedral metallofullerenes (EMFs) have been reported. Breaking dogma monometallofullerenes (mono-EMFs) always exist form M@C2n while clusterfullerenes require multiple (two to four) metal cations stabilize a cluster is unstable as single moiety, here we show an unprecedented monometallic clusterfullerene entrapping yttrium cyanide inside popular C82...

In this study, a series of oxygen-rich bismuth oxychloride Bi12O17Cl2 samples were prepared at different calcination temperatures and characterized by X-ray diffraction patterns, UV–Vis diffuse reflectance spectra, scanning electron microscope, energy dispersion spectroscope, photoelectron spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy. The temperature greatly affected microstructures band structures as-prepared samples, further influencing sonocatalytic degradation efficiencies over dye...

In recent years, the application of Deep Neural Networks to gas recognition has been developing. The classification performance Network depends on efficient representation input data samples. Therefore, a variety filtering methods are firstly adopted smooth filter sensing response data, which can remove redundant information and greatly improve classifier. Additionally, optimization experiment Savitzky–Golay algorithm is carried out. After that, we used Gramian Angular Summation Field (GASF)...
