Sesame (Sesamum indicum) is an important indigenous oilseed crop but its growth and productivity are severely affected by abiotic stresses. Class III peroxidases key stress related enzymes that exclusively occur in plant kingdom, however, their specific involvement sesame remains largely unexplored. The present study aimed to identify the PRX gene family elucidate role conferring drought tolerance contrasting accessions. Through genome-wide analysis of family, 45 non-redundant members...

Hazards of application hydrogen peroxide to semiclosed space are well known. We present a case suspected gas embolism following irrigation the surgical field during posterior fossa surgery in prone position. Severe cardiovascular collapse occurred when wound was irrigated with solution. Generation pressure gradient leads absorption considerable amount oxygen giving rise features venous embolism. Although associated an uneventful recovery, use for securing hemostatis should be avoided.

The present experiment was conducted during October to February of year 2019−20, investigate the effect salinity on morpho-physiological traits and identify genotype have higher salt tolerance among ten genotypes belongs three grain Amaranth species. Plant growth viz., plant height, shoot root dry weight decreases with increase in stress level (EC 5 10 dS m-1) all genotypes, however significant (p<0.01) genotypic difference were GA-5 maintained maximum under salinity. The versatility to learn from a handful of samples is the hallmark human intelligence. Few-shot learning an endeavour transcend this capability down machines. Inspired by promise and power probabilistic deep learning, we propose novel variational inference network for few-shot classification (coined as TRIDENT) decouple representation image into semantic label latent variables, simultaneously infer them in intertwined fashion. To induce task-awareness, part mechanics TRIDENT, exploit...

Background: Akt kinase is a serine/threonine that plays an important role in different cellular processes such as cell proliferation, apoptosis, glucose metabolism, transcription, and migration. It has three isoforms (Akt1, 2, 3) have distinct sometimes contrasting functions cancers. However, to date, most of the inhibitors are directed against generally which would not serve purpose due lack isoform selectivity offtarget toxicity. Therefore, present study elementary step towards demarcation...

Masked Autoencoders (MAEs) are an important divide in self-supervised learning (SSL) due to their independence from augmentation techniques for generating positive (and/or negative) pairs as contrastive frameworks. Their masking and reconstruction strategy also nicely aligns with SSL approaches natural language processing. Most MAEs built upon Transformer-based architectures where visual features not regularized opposed convolutional neural network (CNN) based counterparts, which can...
