Context: Hydrides of the most abundant heavier elements are fundamental molecules in cosmic chemistry. Some them trace gas irradiated by UV or X-rays. Aims: We explore abundances major hydrides W3 IRS5, a prototypical region high-mass star formation. Methods: IRS5 was observed HIFI on Herschel Space Observatory with deep integration (about 2500 s) 8 spectral regions. Results: The target lines including CH, NH, H3O+, and new SH+, H2O+, OH+ detected. H2O+ J=1-0 found mostly absorption, but...

We report on the 2017 September 10 ground level enhancement (GLE) event associated with a coronal mass ejection (CME) whose initial acceleration (~9.1km s^-2) and speed (~4300 km/s) were among highest observed in SOHO era. The GLE was of low intensity (~4.4% above background) softer-than-average fluence spectrum. suggest that poor connectivity (longitudinal latitudinal) source to Earth compounded by weaker ambient magnetic field contributed these properties. Events similar high either lacked...

We present a multi-frequency far-field beam map for the 5m dish telescope at Bleien Observatory measured using commercially available drone. describe hexacopter drone used in this experiment, design of flight pattern, and data analysis scheme. This is first application calibration method to single radio far-field. On November 4th, 2015 secondary air traffic control radar was strongly disturbed in Sweden and some other European countries. The disturbances occurred when the antennas were pointing at Sun. In this paper, we show that coincided with time of peaks an exceptionally strong (∼10 5 Solar Flux Units) solar radio burst a relatively narrow frequency range around 1 GHz. This indicates is most probable space weather candidate for explaining disturbances. dynamic spectrum shows high flux densities...

Abstract Type II radio bursts are generally observed in association with flare-generated or coronal-mass-ejection-driven shock waves. The exact and coronal conditions necessary for the production of type emission still under debate. Shock waves important acceleration electrons generation emission. Additionally, geometry closed field line topology, e.g., quasi-perpendicular regions shocks interacting streamers, play an role In this study we perform a 3D reconstruction modeling wave during...

21cm intensity mapping is a novel approach aimed at measuring the power spectrum of density fluctuations and deducing cosmological information, notably from Baryonic Acoustic Oscillations (BAO). We give an update on progress BAO Integrated Neutral Gas Observations (BINGO) which single dish project. First we explain basic ideas behind concept before updating instrument design for BINGO. also outline survey plan to make its projected science output including estimates parameters.
