Nanoparticles exhibiting a cooperative spin transition, prepared using the reverse micelle technique, are reported. A 40 K magnetic hysteresis is observed near room temperature for [Fe(Htrz)2(trz)](BF4) nanoparticles (where trz triazole derivative) of 11 ± 5 nm in diameter. The figure shows octane low-spin state (left) and high-spin (right). Nanocrystals of the three-dimensional, spin-crossover, porous coordination framework [Fe(pz)Pt(CN)4]⋅n H2O (pz=pyrazine; n≤2.5) have been synthesized from water-in-oil microemulsions. The surfactant-free nanocrystals readily desorb water and resulting anhydrous compounds exhibit thermally induced electronic bistability accompanied by a pronounced color change (see picture; HS=high spin, LS=low spin) close to room temperature.
Clay minerals and sheet silicates are the main constituents of lutites clays. These materials relevant in earth science research as well economic geology because great variety applications, based on their particular features at different levels aggregation mineral assemblages microstructural structural characteristics frequently characterized by micro- nanocrystalline appearance. Thus, X-ray diffraction is a tool for fundamental applied these materials. The present review concerns from powder data.
Aims: The present study investigate the relationship between pre-COVID-19 exercise levels and intensity disease outcome. Methodologically we used an online survey comprising 20 questions was sent to participants determine their history, including type, intensity, exacerbation of COVID-19 symptoms. Study Design: A populational survey-based study. Place Duration Study: multicentric with many institutes universities from Germany, Chile, Iran, Italy, Spain, Unted Staes America, Canadá Brazil....
ABSTRACT Sustainable biocomposite materials based on the combination of polyhydroxyalkanoates with a keratin additive derived from poultry feathers were successfully developed via melt compounding. Suitable dispersions for low loadings in biopolymeric matrix achieved by melt‐mixing technique. A good physical interaction between polymeric and was observed scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Reductions water, limonene, oxygen permeability pure polymer to less than half its initial value...
We present an analysis of the laboratory reflectance and emissivity spectra 11 soil samples collected on different field campaigns carried out over a diverse suite test sites in Europe, North Africa, South America from 2002 to 2008. Hemispherical were measured 2.0 14 microm with Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, x-ray diffraction (XRD) was used determine mineralogical phases samples. Emissivity obtained hemispherical measurements using Kirchhoff's law compared situ radiance CIMEL...
ABSTRACT This work reports on the combination of polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA)‐based materials and nanokeratin extracted from poultry feathers (a food by‐product) using different approaches. In first approach, high‐barrier nanobiocomposites based PHAs with a additive were successfully developed via both (i) direct melt compounding (ii) preincorporated into an electrospun masterbatch PHA which was subsequently compounded pellets. Enhanced barrier properties for obtained seen to depend grade...
This paper aims at highlighting the influence of different additives (carbon black and nucleating agents) on both notched unnotched Charpy impact properties long glass fibre reinforced poly(ethylene terephtalate) injection mouldings. The relationship with polymer matrix composite microstructure modifications (variations crystalline morphology local content) was investigated.Adding carbon alone decreases performances. This highly conductive additive actually increases cooling rate, therefore...
Nano-boehmites with a range of controlled sizes and morphologies exhibiting high dispersability in water were synthesized through free-additive hydrothermal methodology.
The most selective De-NOx process reached by mesocrystalline anatase nanoparticles was associated with the developed mesoporosity, visible light photoactivity and mesocrystallinity.
The crystalline microstructure of ground sepiolite has been investigated. A reference sample and products its comminution by dry grinding were studied through X-ray diffraction pattern analysis, specific surface measurements nitrogen adsorption complementary analysis field emission scanning electron microscope images. statistical model polycrystals was applied to describe determine the specimens. parameters characterizing prevalent crystallite shape, volume-weighted size distribution...
Inorganic yellow nano-pigments based on monoclinic vanadium–zirconia solid solutions for digital decoration prepared by a polyol approach.
Boehmite nanocrystals with tridimensional shape were synthesized by lengthening the aging time of hydrothermal processing. was first precipitated at pH 10 and 100 °C from an aqueous Al3+ solution, subsequently hydrothermally annealed 200 over range between 24 168 h. The crystalline structure all boehmite prepared showed no significant modifications. On contrary, its microstructure strongly depended on time, as growth nanoparticles two clearly different steps: In one, crystallites grew mainly...
Abstract Dark chocolates were characterized according to geographical origin, cocoa variety, and content using the methylxanthine polyphenolic composition antioxidant activity as data. The main study objective was uncover sample patterns identify possible markers of quality, or origin deal with authentication fraud detection issues. In study, a set 26 dark from different varieties (e.g., Criollo, Forastero, Trinitario) harvested in Africa, America, Asia analyzed. optimized treatment...
