Nanocrystals of the three-dimensional, spin-crossover, porous coordination framework [Fe(pz)Pt(CN)4]⋅n H2O (pz=pyrazine; n≤2.5) have been synthesized from water-in-oil microemulsions. The surfactant-free nanocrystals readily desorb water and resulting anhydrous compounds exhibit thermally induced electronic bistability accompanied by a pronounced color change (see picture; HS=high spin, LS=low spin) close to room temperature.
The two-dimensional spin crossover (SCO) polymers [Fe(3-Fpy)2M(CN)4] (MII = Ni(1), Pd(2), Pt(3)) were nanostructured in the form of nanocrystals and nanoparticles, their chemical, structural, physical characterization was carried out using different experimental methods (powder X-ray diffraction, magnetic susceptibility measurements, Mössbauer infrared spectroscopy, transmission scanning electronic microscopy, etc.). Surfactant-free average dimensions 400 × 30 nm (1a, 1a*, 2a, 3a)...
Significance Statement Although gene expression changes have been characterized in human diabetic kidney disease (DKD), unbiased tissue proteomics information for this condition is lacking. The authors conducted an aptamer-based proteomic analysis of samples from patients with DKD and healthy controls, identifying proteins levels that associate function (eGFR) or fibrosis, after adjusting key covariates. Overall, only modestly correlated protein levels. Kidney RNA matrix metalloproteinase 7...
Twelve coordination polymers with formula {Fe(3-Xpy)(2)[M(II)(CN)(4)]} (M(II): Ni, Pd, Pt; X: F, Cl, Br, I; py: pyridine) have been synthesised, and their crystal structures determined by single-crystal or powder X-ray analysis. All of the fluoro iodo compounds, as well chloro derivative in which M(II) is Pt, crystallise monoclinic C2/m space group, whereas rest all bromo derivatives orthorhombic Pnc2 group. In cases, iron(II) atom resides a pseudo-octahedral [FeN(6)] core, similar bond...
Assembly of Fe(II), 3-cyanopyridine and [Au(CN)2](-) affords, in one-pot reaction, three coordination polymers that represent a genuine example supramolecular isomerism with strong influence the spin crossover regime Fe(II) ions.
As quantum devices continue to grow in size but remain affected by noise, it is crucial determine when and how they can outperform classical computers on practical tasks. A central piece this effort develop the most efficient simulation algorithms possible. Among promising approaches are Pauli backpropagation algorithms, which have already demonstrated their ability efficiently simulate certain classes of parameterized circuits-a leading contender for near-term advantage-under random circuit...
Compound [Co(4-terpyridone)2](CF3SO3)2·1H2O, where 4-terpyridone is 2,6-bis(2-pyridyl)-4(1H)-pyridone, forms two polymorphs. Polymorph 1 displays a continuous spin conversion in the temperature region 300–120 K while polymorph 2 shows, on cooling, onset of high-spin (HS) to low-spin (LS) interrupted by an abrupt "reverse" transition 217–203 K. The formed unstable HS intermediate phase (IP) undergoes strong cooperative "normal" characterised hysteresis loop 33 wide. structural data give...
Abstract The thermal spin‐crossover behaviour, photoexcitation and subsequent relaxation, as well the pressure‐induced behaviour at 298 K are discussed for non‐porous two‐dimensional Hofmann‐like coordination polymer [Fe(3‐Clpy) 2 Pd(CN) 4 ] ( 1 ). title compound undergoes a two‐step, cooperative thermal‐induced SCO with critical temperatures T c1 ↓ = 159.6 ↑ 164.5 first step c2 141.4 148.4 second step. Irradiation of low‐spin state green light (514 nm) 10 induced around 60 % iron(II)...
The iron(iii) bis-tridentate complex [Fe(3-OMe-SalEen)(thsa)] is the first heteroleptic spin crossover and displays a very high T1/2 value weak thermal hysteresis. Intermolecular structural details are related to cooperativity features.
Two new isostructural iron(II) spin-crossover (SCO) framework (SCOF) materials of the type [Fe(dpms)2(NCX)2] (dpms = 4,4'-dipyridylmethyl sulfide; X S (SCOF-6(S)), Se (SCOF-6(Se))) have been synthesized. The 2D consist undulating and interpenetrated rhomboid (4,4) nets. SCOF-6(S) displays an incomplete SCO transition with only approximately 30 % conversion high-spin (HS) to low-spin sites over temperature range 300-4 K (T1/2 75 K). In contrast, NCSe(-) analogue, SCOF-6(Se), a complete 135...
Abstract A new ttf (tetrathiofulvalene) ligand containing an amidopyridine moiety was synthesized and characterized. The electrochemical study of the 4‐tetrathiofulvalenylcarboxamidopyridine (ttf–adpy) showed two reversible oxidation processes at E I′ 1/2 = 0.08 V/Fc + –Fc II′ 0.26 –Fc. crystal structure [(ttf–adpyH) 2 Pt(CN) 4 ] ( 1 ) solved 293 K, where displays triclinic space group P $\bar {1}$ . ttf–adpyH molecule is planar, bond lengths within core are in usual range for neutral...
For the 2D coordination polymers [Fe(3-Fpy)(2)M(II)(CN)(4)] (M(II) = Ni, Pd, Pt), pressure-induced spin crossover behavior has been investigated at 298 K by monitoring distinct optical properties associated with each state. Cooperative first-order transition characterized a piezohysteresis loop ca. 0.1 GPa wide was observed for three derivatives. Application of mean field regular solution theory enabled estimation cooperative parameter, Γ(p), and enthalpy, ΔH(HL)(p), derivative. These...
Abstract The dinuclear iron( II ) complex {[Fe(CH 3 bipy)(NCS) 2 ] bpym} has been synthesised and its crystal structure determined at 293 K. magnetic properties display intramolecular antiferromagnetic coupling 1 bar ( J = −4.2 cm −1 ), the onset of a pressure‐induced spin conversion is observed 11 kbar. Magnetic field Mössbauer measurements have carried out 4.2 K, indicate that HS species correspond to [HS‐HS] pairs. (© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2004)
The development of new advanced functionalities, miniaturization, and the aim obtaining optimized performance in electronic devices significantly impacts their electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). As components become more densely packed on a printed circuit board (PCB), unintended coupling between can cause interference (EMI). These requirements result design restrictions that make using level shield (BLS) essential reducing intra-system EMI PCB designs. This contribution focuses studying...

Pancake kidney is one of the least common renal fusion anomalies encountered in medical practice. Less than 30 cases this variant have been reported literature. Patients are generally asymptomatic, with diagnosis pancake usually found incidentally on imaging study or autopsy. Given rarity cases, it difficult to establish a relationship specific associated clinical findings. Asymptomatic patients managed conservatively regular follow-up. We present case 69-year-old female who was kidney,...
