We present first results from a dark photon matter search in the mass range 44 to 52 μeV (10.7-12.5 GHz) using room-temperature dish antenna setup called GigaBREAD. Dark converts ordinary photons on cylindrical metallic emission surface with area 0.5 m^{2} and is focused by novel parabolic reflector onto horn antenna. Signals are read out low-noise receiver system. A data taking run 24 days of does not show evidence for this range, excluding mixing parameters χ≳10^{-12} at 90% confidence...

Many strawberry growers in Florida relay crop vegetables with strawberries or grow multiple crops on the same plastic mulch. The practice can reduce overall input costs per but weed management be problematic. Field experiments designed as a split plot were conducted Balm and Dover, FL over two successive strawberry-growing seasons from Oct. 2014 to Mar. 2015 (year 1) 2016 2) muskmelon-growing March July 2). objectives examine effect of summer fallow programs presence absence relay-crop...

Abstract A 3-year field research was conducted to investigate the effect of four subsoiling methods on maize yield and water use efficiency. These included bulk in autumn (BS), annual ridge autumn, furrow early summer, interannual alternate zone (AS), which were compared with rotary tillage spring. The results suggested that density soil alternately changed by AS, but AS had limited average storage soil. Overall, tilled BS maintained a high water-holding capacity, could stabilize under...

The soil water characteristic curve (SWCC) is an important hydraulic parameter for modeling flow and contaminant transport in the vadose zone. However, direct measurement of SWCC still difficult. Arya Paris (AP) model estimates from particle-size distribution (PSD) based on shape similarity two curves. They introduced empirical parameter, α, used to scale pore attributes hypothetical formations natural structures. Several approaches have been derive α. calculation procedures these are either...
