Laser-induced self-organization of regular nanoscale layered patterns in fused silica is investigated using spectroscopy and microscopy methods, revealing a high presence stable broken oxygen bonds. Longitudinal traces are then generated by replicating static irradiation structures where the modulation can cover partially or completely photoinscribed traces. The resulting birefringence, observed anisotropic light scattering properties, capacity to write erase modulated be used designing bulk...

We investigate interactions between in-phase or out-of-phase Airy beams and nonlinear accelerating in photorefractive crystals by means of direct numerical simulations. Since self-accelerating possess infinite energy, we evaluated the propagation two shifted counter truncating oscillating tails. The results show that external bias electric field has a profound effect on dynamics solitons shed from beam. also found during beams, single solitons, soliton pairs, bound breathing were produced....

Bamboo–timber composite columns hold significant promise as bio-based structural elements. However, research in this area remains limited, especially concerning modern buckling analysis methods that incorporate constitutive models of engineered bamboo and timber materials. This study aims to address gap by proposing a proof-of-concept analytical framework based on component-based strategy for analysis, utilising piecewise material the guide rail its strain-stage-based component split-up....

A waveguide with a circular transverse profile can be obtained by using slit beam shaping method. Applications about optical circuit chips in glass require cross-section two dimensions. Here we reported to realize fabrication of dimensions rotating the corresponding tangent line arc waveguide. The dependence on width was investigated experiment. difference between geometrical optics prediction and experimental result explained considering focal shift xy directions due diffraction effects.

We present the observation of incoherent anti-dark photovoltaic solitons in LiNbO3:Fe crystal. This new class soliton states involves bright on a background beam meeting κ > 1, where is ratio illumination constant to that beam. For < dark are generated. Furthermore, this novel type investigated experimentally by injecting coherent light and partially infinite extent. In case spatial coherence lower than threshold modulation instability, these results indicate can propagate stable fashion.
