Background: APOE4 has been hypothesized to increase Alzheimer’s disease risk by increasing neuroinflammation, though the specific neuroinflammatory pathways involved are unclear. Objective: Characterize cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) proteomic changes related copy number. Methods: We analyzed targeted data from ADNI CSF samples using a linear regression model adjusting for age, sex, and number, additional models also AD clinical status or Aβ, tau, p-tau levels. False discovery rate was used...

Prostate biopsy can be prone to complications and thus should avoided when unnecessary. Although the combination of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), prostate health index (PHI), PHI density (PHID) has been shown improve detection clinically significant cancer (csPCa), there is limited information available assessing its clinical utility. We sought determine whether using PHID could enhance PCa on MRI ultrasound fusion-targeted (MRF-TB) compared other biomarker cutoffs.

Osteitis pubis is a rare, inflammatory condition involving the pubic symphysis. While osteitis has been reported following many urological procedures, including those addressing bladder outlet obstruction such as transurethral resection of prostate, it never after holmium laser enucleation prostate (HoLEP). Here, we detail clinical course patient found to have HoLEP. This presented several weeks surgery with non-specific, persistent symptoms groin pain and difficulty ambulating, alerting our...

Abstract Background APOE4 has been hypothesized to increase Alzheimer’s disease risk by increasing neuroinflammation, though the specific neuroinflammatory pathways involved are unclear. Objectives To characterize CSF proteomic changes as a function of copy number. Methods We analyzed targeted data obtained on ADNI samples using linear regression model adjusting for age, sex, and number, second also AD clinical status. False Discovery Rate (FDR) was used correct multiple comparisons. Results...
