As one of the primary nodes in flow micro-plastics (MPs) environment, it is critical to examine and assess Sewage Treatment, occurrence, removal MPs waste treatment plant (WWTP). This research explored shape, size, composition at various stages WWTP process south city Hefei, China, dry rainy weather conditions, as well effectiveness a three-stage process. The collected were quantitatively qualitatively examined using an Osmosis electron microscope micro-FTIR. pollution risk was assessed EU...
VINGS-Mono is a monocular (inertial) Gaussian Splatting (GS) SLAM framework designed for large scenes. The comprises four main components: VIO Front End, 2D Map, NVS Loop Closure, and Dynamic Eraser. In the RGB frames are processed through dense bundle adjustment uncertainty estimation to extract scene geometry poses. Based on this output, mapping module incrementally constructs maintains map. Key components of Map include Sample-based Rasterizer, Score Manager, Pose Refinement, which...
This study aimed to investigate the distribution of microplastics (MPs) within Shiwuli River in Hefei, a Chinese inland city. Water and sediment samples were collected during flood season (from May September) non-flood October April) at 10 representative points along truck stream. The electron microscope, laser direct infrared chemical imaging system (LDIR), scanning microscope (SEM) used observe quantify colour shape MPs, identify number, size, polymer composition microstructures typical MP...
Abstract Oxic-settling-anaerobic process (OSA) was known as a cost-effective way to reduce the excess sludge production with simple upgrade of conventional activated (CAS). A low oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) level key factor decay and lysis in holding tank OSA process. However, ORP control nitrogen purge or chemical dosing would induce extra expense complicate operation. Hence, this study, using gravity thickening applied without any control. Results showed that modified not only...
Domestic wastewater depth processing and reclamation are essential in the alleviation of global water shortage. In this study, an innovative filter media (i.e., Fe3O4@Carbon [FCM]) was synthesized subsequently used a biological aerated (BAF) for simultaneous phosphate recovery nitrogen removal (SPN) from domestic wastewater. The performance FCM compared with commercially available ceramsite (CAC). results showed that FCMBAF better than CACBAF; as far SPN is concerned, magnetic field could...
Abstract The presence of microplastics is increasingly recognized as a major issue in environmental protection across the world, primarily result their long-lasting nature and potential harm they can inflict on ecosystems.Current methods for degrading include physical capture, chemical degradation biological methods.Among them, microbial has received much attention because it economically feasible environmentally friendly. This paper reviews microorganisms, metabolites mechanisms three...
The activated carbon was prepared from sycamore bark by activation of zinc chloride. absorbing effect on Congo red wastewater is studied. characteristics were characterized SEM and BET. effects adsorbent dosage, time, shaking speed the adsorption properties isotherm, kinetics, thermodynamics explored. results revealed that contain a large apparent mesopores. Adsorption efficiency increased with enhancing dosage time. removal rate Conge reached to 98.2% under room temperature 3.0 g/L, time...
ABSTRACTIn this study, autoclaved aerated concrete particles (AACPs) from construction waste were used to simultaneously remove phosphorus and nitrogen in biological filters (BAFs). The effects of air/water (A/W) ratio on the removal performance (PO43−), total organic carbon, (TN), ammonia investigated. Results showed that AACP BAF was more efficient than commercially available ceramsite (CAC) BAF. For example, rates TN with CAC 45.96% 15.64%, respectively, those PO43− 72.45% 33.97%, at A/W...
Nitrate is a prominent pollutant in water bodies around the world. The isotopes nitrate provide an effective approach to trace sources and transformations of bodies. However, determination isotopic composition by conventional analytical techniques time-consuming, laborious, expensive, alternative methods are urgently needed. In this study, rapid 15NO3− using Fourier transform infrared attenuated total reflectance spectroscopy (FTIR-ATR) coupled with deconvolution algorithm partial least...
Abstract The flotation of coal fines in the form hydrophobic flocs, which is termed floc‐flotation, for rejecting fine mineral matters from slimes has been studied this work. This process consists dispersion, selective flocculation organic matters, and as flocs. study was performed on two China, namely Taixi anthracite Tongshan coking coal. experimental results have shown that floc‐flotation not only strongly increased combustible recovery, but also greatly lowered ash remaining cleaned...
In this paper, the treatment methods of heavy metal pollution in soils were analyzed, existence and transformation metals soil explored, mechanism absorption by plants was studied. It concluded that main form absorb is exchangeable. The plant cell wall can complex with metals, so fixed on wall, through selective plasma membrane into body. addition, adsorption adsorbed material analyzed. According to results some researchers, it found similar plants. this, using adsorbent as material, Imitate...
Abstract Exclosure is a simple and effective rangeland restoration approach, which widely used in China, conducive to the recovery of degraded vegetation soil. Plant soil properties desert steppe on southeastern edge Junggar basin after 6 16 years grazing exclusion were measured compared with open lands. The results showed that cover increased exclosure time, while abundance decreased over time; species richness, diversity, evenness indexes annual plants recovered exclusion. was...
This study compared the sludge reduction performance of a new oxic-settling-anaerobic (NOSA) process with that conventional adsorption–biodegradation process. A 50 m3/d pilot trial system two different configurations was operated for 6 months. The NOSA functioned effectively in removing both chemical oxygen demand and nitrogen efficiencies 86 92.5%, respectively, which reduced approximately 40% excess sludge. In this research, 0.77 kg volatile suspended solids/d vanished anaerobic tank,...
Abstract Electroplating wastewater is a highly hazardous industrial with complex composition. For the treatment of electroplating wastewater, traditional methods include chemical and membrane treatment. According to requirements in recent years, technology difficult reach new emission standards. The “zero emission” has gradually become goal ecological civilization construction. This article starts discussion from this aspect.
In complex missions such as search and rescue, robots must make intelligent decisions in unknown environments, relying on their ability to perceive understand surroundings. High-quality real-time reconstruction enhances situational awareness is crucial for robotics. Traditional methods often struggle with poor scene representation or are too slow use. Inspired by the efficacy of 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), we propose a hierarchical planning framework fast high-fidelity active...
Abstract WWTPs are considered to be a major indirect source of MPs discharged into the environment. Characteristics in influent and effluent water sludge were analysed, including abundance, type, shape size. Detailed comparisons made summarise removal efficiency each treatment process on analysis factors affecting them, analyse trend attribution WWTPs. It is also concluded that main shapes sewage plants fibres fragments, which account for an increased proportion outlet water, polymer types...
