Mental fatigue is usually caused by long-term cognitive activities, mainly manifested as drowsiness, difficulty in concentrating, decreased alertness, disordered thinking, slow reaction, lethargy, reduced work efficiency, error-prone and so on. has become a widespread sub-health condition, serious impact on the function of brain. However, seldom studies investigate differences mental electrophysiological activity both resting state task at same time. Here, twenty healthy male participants...

A key parameter for the gyrotron operation and efficiency is presence of trapped electrons. Two electron trapping mechanisms can take place in gyrotrons: (i) adiabatic trap (ii) magnetic potential well. Their influence on analyzed. gun design criteria are then proposed to suppress both order minimize risk possible problems. Experimental results three high power gyrotrons presented their performance correlated populations Finally, some very general principles limitation harmful trapping.

It has been proposed that the radiation damage to biological particles and soft condensed matter can be overcome by ultrafast ultraintense X-ray free-electron lasers (FELs) with short pulse durations. The successful demonstration of "diffraction-before-destruction" concept made single-shot diffraction imaging a promising tool achieve high resolutions under native states samples. However, resolution is still limited because low signal-to-noise ratio, especially for specimens such as cells,...

The existence of light sterile neutrinos is a long standing question for particle physics. Several experimental ``anomalies'' could be explained by introducing ~eV mass scaled neutrinos. Many experiments are actively hunting such through neutrino oscillation. For baseline experiments, matter effect needs to treated carefully precise oscillation probability calculation. However, it usually time-consuming or analytical complexity. In this manuscript we adopt the Jacobi-like method diagonalize...

An electrode configuration with microhollow array dielectric and anode was developed to obtain parallel vacuum arc discharge. Compared the conventional electrodes, more than 10 discharges were ignited for new configuration, which increased discharge area significantly made cathode eroded uniformly. The channel number could be effectively by decreasing distances between holes or increasing current. Experimental results revealed that plasmas ejected from adjacent hollow relatively high voltage...
