Given their ecological importance, bioindicators are used for the assessment of health river ecosystems. This study explored fungal compositions and potential taxa as indicating water quality Mekong River, use indicators River was not previously well characterized. The exhibited dynamic variations in both physicochemical/hydrochemical properties communities according to seasons locations. results revealed dominance alkaline earth metal ions weak acids water. magnesium-bicarbonate type found...
Attention has recently been paid to how REDD+ mitigation policies are integrated into other sectoral policies, particularly those dealing with climate adaptation at the national level. But there is less understanding of subnational policy and local projects able incorporate attention adaptation; therefore, we use a case study in Vietnam discuss address both concerns together levels. Through stakeholder interviews, focus groups, household surveys three provinces activities, our research...
In this study, we used both silk fibroin nanofibers (nSFs) and rice husk silica nanoparticles as epoxy (EP) resin reinforcement materials to improve the modes I II interlaminar fracture toughness of EP-filled carbon fiber-based (CF/EP) composites. The nSFs were obtained by electrospinning, while via acidic thermal treatments. results showed that interfacial shear strength, G IC , IIC CF/EP composites improved 25, 36, 30%, respectively, adding 0.2 wt% nSF 20 nanoparticles.
Abstract Pectobacterium parmentieri (formerly wasabiae ), which causes soft rot disease in potatoes, is a newly established species of pectinolytic bacteria within the family Pectobacteriaceae . Despite serious damage caused to potato industry worldwide, no field-deployable diagnostic tests are available detect pathogen plant samples. In this study, we aimed develop reliable, rapid, loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay for specific detection P. Specific LAMP primers targeting...
, seven species are now-adays accommodated (Franke et al., 1999; Fuentes-Ramirez 2001; Gillis 1989; Tazato 2012; Yamada and Yukphan, 2008). In the systematic ecological studies of acetic acid bacteria, present authors found that a certain strain isolated from natural environment Vietnam was located in unique phylogenetic position, name-ly, outside
ABSTRACT Carboxyl‐terminated poly(acrylonitrile‐ co ‐butadiene) (CTBN)‐grafted epoxidized linseed oil (ELO) (CTBN‐ g ‐ELO) was synthesized and used as an effective toughener to simultaneously enhance the mechanical properties fracture toughness of epoxy resin (EP). The ELO fabricated from via epoxidation processing. characteristics CTBN‐ ‐ELO, such average molecular weight chemical structure, were determined using gel permeation chromatography, proton nuclear magnetic resonance, Fourier...
The genus Saccharibacter Jojima et al. 2004 was taxonomically unique from the osmophilic point of view: no growth is found on 1.0% D-glucose w/v, differing any other acetic acid bacteria, oxidation acetate negative, lactate weakly positive, and not in presence 0.35% v/v (Jojima al., 2004).In a previous study, present authors proposed new Neokomagataea Yukphan 2011 with descriptions thailandica tanensis 2011, for two isolates that were related phylogenetically to strains flo- ricola...
Bacillus anthracis, the bacterial cause of anthrax, is a zoonosis affecting livestock and wildlife often spilling over into humans. In Vietnam, anthrax has been nationally reportable since 2015 with cases occurring annually, mostly in northern provinces. April 2022, an outbreak was reported Son La province following butchering water buffalo, Bubalus bubalis. A total 137 humans from three villages were likely exposed to contaminated meat animal. Early epidemiological investigations suggested...
The pathological process of Alzheimer's disease is closely related to amyloid fibril formation by the causative protein, β (Aβ). growth behavior Aβ fibrils predominated seeds-monomeric interaction. In this study, local hydrophobicity seeds was investigated aqueous two-phase partitioning method evaluate hydrophobic interaction between seed-monomeric Aβ. showed a high relative monomer and fibrils. From experiment additive effect Triton X-100, we could demonstrate contribution seeds-monomer formation.
Forty-four Thai isolates phenotypically assigned to the genus Gluconobacter were examined for 16S-23S rDNA ITS restriction analysis by MboII and SduI (=Bsp1286I) digestions. The tested divided into seven groups: Group I fourteen isolates, IX one isolate, X two V-2 four XI three IV III nineteen isolates. There no of either II or V-1 that identified as G. cerinus. III, IV, subjected an additional AvaII, TaqI, BsoBI, BstNI groups subgroups: III-2 five III-6 III-4, which was subgroups, Subgroup...
The liposome immobilized on indium tin-oxide electrode was prepared as a "Membrane Chip" to evaluate the liposome-liposome interaction. Three kinds of neutral liposomes entrapping fluorescence probe, calcein, were utilized sensory liposome. Twenty four used construct membrane library based calcein release behavior. loading including unsaturated phospholipid into dialyzer induced variation surface state membrane. We analyzed above by comparison it with constructed Membrane Chip. after its...
In the present work, silanized hybrid fillers of nano/micro glass fiber (nGF) and coal fly ash (CFA) were synthesized used as additives for vinyl ester resin reinforced with carbon (CFRV). The silane characteristics agent group was to coat in surface by applying silanization processing. sheet molding compound (SMC) method two steps hot curing processing applied receive CFRV. results pointed out that using nGF CFA weight ratio 0.1/1 helps enhance performances Compared pristine sample, mode I...
