Abstract PVA/PVP blend embedded with different ratios of nano Cu 0.9 Mn 0.1 S (Cu/MnS) was prepared thermolysis and casting techniques. X‐ray diffraction analysis showed the formation Cu/MnS as a single hexagonal phase an average crystallite size 11 nm. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) revealed nearly homogenous particles morphology. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy technique applied to characterize doped matrix. UV measurements were utilized investigate optical properties in...

Thin films of In2O3 and doped with Ag+ or Cu2+ were assembled by spray pyrolysis from aqueous solution at 450 °C. The microstructure analysis optical properties investigated using XRD, SEM, EDX UV–Vis. spectrophotometer. XRD proved that Ag-doping greatly reduces the crystallites sizes 96 nm to 59 nm. However, Cu-doping has less pronounced effect on crystallite than Ag doping. band gap energy decreases both change in lattice parameter cubic Cu substitutions is compatible ionic radius...

Extended x-ray absorption fine structure has been measured at the $K$ edge of copper in ${\text{CuScO}}_{2}$ and ${\text{CuLaO}}_{2}$ to investigate local origin negative thermal expansion (NTE) along $c$ axis. A positive Cu-O bond within entire temperature interval be contrasted with distance between average atomic positions by diffraction; inadequacy riding correction diffraction data evidenced.
