Undoped and doped polyvinyl pyrrolidone/ carboxymethyl cellulose (PVP/CMC: 50/50%) blended polymers with melanin were formed. X-ray diffraction analysis confirmed the amorphous nature of all blends. Scanning electron microscopy results smooth homogeneous surface undoped PVP/CMC blend melanin.
