We give an overview and describe the rationale, methods, first results from NIRCam images of JWST "Prime Extragalactic Areas for Reionization Lensing Science" ("PEARLS") project. PEARLS uses up to eight filters survey several prime extragalactic areas: two fields at North Ecliptic Pole (NEP); seven gravitationally lensing clusters; high redshift proto-clusters; iconic backlit VV 191 galaxy system map its dust attenuation. also includes NIRISS spectra one NEP NIRSpec high-redshift quasars....
A distinct power-law break is apparent m_AB approximately 21 in the deep Near-Infrared PEARLS-JWST galaxy counts. The becomes more pronounced at longer wavelengths, with counts slope flattening smoothly magnitude shortest band used 0.9 microns, trending towards an increasingly broken by longest wavelength passband of JWST NIRCam, 4.4 microns. This behaviour remarkably well predicted GALFORM semi-analytical model formation. We use to diagnose origin this behaviour. find that features are...
ABSTRACT Alfalfa ( Medicago sativa L.) is a globally cultivated perennial forage legume. Flowering time, an important agronomic trait of alfalfa, pivotal for farmers to determine the optimal harvest stage, thereby maximizing economic benefits. However, underlying molecular basis flowering time regulation in alfalfa remains unclear. Here we generated comprehensive full‐length, seasonal and diurnal transcriptome atlas comprising 108 samples, including two sets late‐ early‐flowering across...
Abstract A full understanding of how unusually large ultradiffuse galaxies (UDGs) fit into our conventional theory galaxy formation remains elusive, despite the number objects identified locally. natural extension UDG research is study similar at higher redshift to establish their properties may evolve over time. However, this has been a challenging task given severely systematic effects and cosmological surface brightness dimming inhibit ability analyze low high z . Here, we present sample...
