Intrahost genetic diversity is thought to facilitate arbovirus adaptation changing environments and hosts, it might also be linked viral pathogenesis. Dengue virus serotype 2 (DENV-2) has circulated in Brazil since 1990 associated with severe disease explosive outbreaks. Intending shed light on the determinants for dengue pathogenesis, we sought analyze DENV-2 intrahost 68 patient cases clinically classified as fever (n = 31), warning signs 19), 18). Unlike previous DENV studies whose...
A bi-functionalized molecularly imprinted silica (MIS) was prepared for solid phase extraction of quercetin.
A suitable non-enzymatic method is presented as an alternative to the lactic acid determination in yogurt and fermented mash samples. The oxidative conversion of by Ce4+ CO2 was performed a sequential injection system with heating coil set at 45 °C. gas diffusion unit coupled flow for promoting permeation CO2, which collected into bromothymol blue solution (pH 8.4), used indicator spectrophotometric (619 nm). Simplicity operation, low reagent consumption, cost ruggedness are some remarkable...
Abstract Multipumping flow systems (MPFSs) are one of the most recent developments in terms flow‐based analytical methodologies. They differ from conventional modalities such as injection analysis (FIA) and sequential (SIA) several aspects, including manifold components configuration, operational mode, hydrodynamics. This paper presents an overview MPFSs discusses their basic features, methodological implementation, characteristics, performance, potential, limitations. Applications to...
Laboratory experiments were carried out to examine the effects of plant residues on Cu, Zn, B and S adsorption by an acidic oxisol. The were: black oats (Avena strigosa), oil seed radish(Raphanus sativus), velvet beans (Stizolobium cinereum), pigeon pea (Cajanus cajan) collected at flowering stage. Plant increased Cu Zn adsorptions decreased adsorptions. results indicated that for short term effect availabilities through metal organic complex reactions competition with anions sites soil.
Peroxynitrite anion is a reactive nitrogen species formed in vivo by the rapid, controlled diffusion reaction between nitric oxide and superoxide radicals. By reacting with several biological molecules, peroxynitrite may cause important cellular tissue deleterious effects, which have been associated many diseases. In this work, an automated flow-based procedure for vitro generation of subsequent screening scavenging activity selected compounds developed. This involves multipumping flow...
Abstract A fully automated kinetic method for the spectrophotometric determination of buspirone in pharmaceutical preparations is proposed. The analytical system was implemented by using multiple solenoid micropumps sample and reagents insertion, which led to improved operational simplicity low reagent consumption. three‐way valve enabled establishment two parallel reactors exploitation fixed time approach differential kinetics. Linear calibration plots concentrations up 60 mg L−1 were...
