The purpose of the head positioning control hard disk drives is to move magnetic onto desired track swiftly and keep it on precisely against various disturbances plant uncertainty at high frequency. authors apply H/sup infinity / drives. To obtain a good transient response, they adopt two-degree freedom scheme. experimental results show favorable performance indicate very promising future for application theory systems.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"...

Abstract This article is concerned with data‐driven analysis and controller design for continuous‐time sampled‐data systems. The linear system considered in this paper controlled under the periodic event‐triggering transmission mechanism. Firstly, event‐triggered control (PETC) systems are modeled analyzed by time‐delay approach. And model‐based stability conditions presented invoking Lyapunov Secondly, based on a popular data‐based representation, criteria deduced using only noisy data....

This paper describes a new model predictive control method for buck DC-DC converters. The target is to achieve good trade-off between fast response and low overshoot in the transient of output voltage. In well-known PWM-PI method, such difficult attain. proposed based on an analytic algorithm which can be easily implemented on-line. Further, advantage verified experimently. Experiment result shows that outperforms method.

This paper proposes two high performance control methods and an on-line load identification algorithm for boost DC-DC converters. The first is a short-horizon model predictive method whose solution can be computed analytically, thus rendering that implemented on-line. Further, we show how to find suitable index so as achieve good response. idea use the inductance current penalized output, instead of output voltage. second 3-level hysteresis which natural extension conventional has three...

The authors correct the parameterization of H/sub infinity / controller full-information (FI) problem derived by J.C. Doyle et al. (1989). Then they parameterize m0/ state feedback and explain how dynamical free parameters implied in it are related to constant gains different from central solution F/sub /.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>

The authors establish a conjugation notion for discrete-time systems. In systems, is very elementary operation on the rational transfer function that replaces some of its poles by their reflections with respect to unit circle. With aid J-lossless (conjugation system), it shown parametrization optimal solutions H/sup infinity / model-matching problem reduced Lyapunov-type equation. It further proved natural state-space representation classical interpolation in discrete time systems.< <ETX...

In this paper, we propose a new method to design discontinuous stabilizing controllers for chained systems. The proposed yield exponential convergence of the states origin. our method, closed loop system is formulated by linear differential equation with regular singular point at z=0. It shown that controller Astolfi, in which /spl sigma/ process used coordinate transformation, included as special case where z=0 limited its subclass, namely an Euler equation. This can be easily extended...

An engine bench is a two-mass-spring system consisting of dynamo and an connected by shaft. The shaft has property nonlinear spring, the subject to periodic disturbance stemming from combustion engine. This paper focuses on case where resonance frequency overlap. In such case, torque amplified danger rupture. We propose robust control method for this system. In practice, the plant model is usually built from its frequency responses obtained identification experiments. this sense, it desirable to build an uncertainty responses. Up date, there are mainly two kinds of models: norm-bounded and passive. For general systems, range inevitably enlarged by these models, thus leading design conservatism. This paper proposes novel together with sophisticated modeling algorithms. These models able reduce enlargement uncertainty's utmost, can be easily...
