Abstract Ribosomally synthesized and post-translationally modified peptides (RiPPs) are a promising source of new antimicrobials in the face rising antibiotic resistance. Here, we report scalable platform that combines high-throughput bioinformatics with automated biosynthetic gene cluster refactoring for rapid evaluation uncharacterized clusters.
