Lithium metal batteries have attracted significant research attention because of their satisfactory specific capacity and low overpotential. However, uneven Li deposition uncontrolled dendrite growth limit the further development this technique. In study, we propose addition C4H2Cl2S to electrolyte induce inhibit growth. The additive reacts with surface lithium anode promote decomposition TFSI–anionic groups participate in film formation reaction, which is confirmed by density functional...

A series of aluminum hypophosphite (AHPi)/graphite-like carbon nitride (g-C₃N₄) (designated as CAHPi) hybrids were prepared, followed by incorporation into thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). The introduction CAHPi TPU led to a marked reduction in the peak heat release rate (pHRR), total release, weight loss rate, smoke production and (TSP). For instance, pHRR TSP decreased 40% 50% for TPU/CAHPi20. Furthermore, increasing fire growth index decreasing performance obtained TPU/CAHPi systems,...

Extensive application of epoxy resins (EPs) is highly limited by their intrinsic flammability. Combining EPs with nanoparticles and phosphorus‐nitrogen flame retardants an effective approach to overcome the drawback. In this work, simultaneous incorporation octa‐aminophenyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (OapPOSS) polyphosphazene into EP was reported for first time. Significantly, reduced peak heat release rate UL‐94 V‐0 rating were achieved tuning suitable ratios OapPOSS composites....

Introduction Dyslipidemia is a critical risk factor for atherosclerosis and cardiovascular/cerebrovascular events, necessitating effective long-term management. However, conventional lipid-lowering drugs such as statins fibrates are limited by adverse effects, including hepatotoxicity myopathy, which restrict their prolonged use. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) natural health products offer potential alternatives with multi-target mechanisms improved safety profiles. Tangerine Peel Enzyme...

ABSTRACT A novel flame‐retardant synergist, chitosan/urea compound based phosphonic acid melamine salt (HUMCS), was synthesized and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy 31 P‐NMR. Subsequently, HUMCS added to a fire‐retardant polypropylene (PP) containing an intumescent (IFR) system improve its properties. The PP/IFR/HUMCS composites were limiting oxygen index (LOI) tests, vertical burning tests (UL‐94 tests), microscale combustion calorimetry thermogravimetric analysis...

Coordination compound derivates (CCDs) have been widely applied in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). However, the functionalization of CCDs with open structure and heteroatomic doping is still challenging. Herein, an effective strategy presented to prepare a kind CCD, where Co0.85Se nanoparticles are encapsulated by nitrogen-enriched hierarchically porous carbon (CS/NPC) based on heat treatment cobalt-complexed hexamethylolmelamine-polyvinylpyrrolidone resin (Co2+/HPR). The abundant free volume...

ABSTRACT Polyaniline (PANI)/reduced graphene oxide (rGO) composites were synthesized by in situ oxidative polymerization of aniline on reduced sheets. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, transmission electron microscopy, and scanning microscopy used to characterize the composites. The results indicated PANI/rGO produced contained covalent bonds between functional groups PANI rGO. A uniform coating rGO sheets had a synergistic effect...
