HIGHLIGHTS CF-Ctn[15-34] shows excellent encapsulation efficiency (93,3%) in PLGA nanoparticles. loaded nanoparticles have good physicochemical characteristics. There is a rapid initial release of the nanoparticles, followed by sustained release. improves antifungal effect against Cryptococcus neoformans.
<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> </head> <body> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Objective: </strong>Unfractionated heparin and low molecular weight are the drugs most used today in coagulopathy. Although effective, these have limitations their usage, which aroused interest of scientific community researching other substances with a similar effect. This study aims to analyze anticoagulant activity isolated chemically modified pectin extracted from Caipira melon (<em>Cucumis melo</em>...
Nanoparticle Development: Commercially purchased aqueous LMWH solution (Clexane 100 mg/ml) was dissolved in 5ml diclomethane: PLGA (50:50) and sonicated (Sonifier® Model W-450D Branson) at 50% amplitude for 15 seconds an ice bath forming the first emulsion.Immediately thereafter, a 1.0% PVA added sonication again double emulsion. The suspension allowed to stir 6 hours fully evaporate solvent (dichloromethane).Subsequently, separating filter (Amicon Ultra-15ml) centrifuged min 3000rpm (Figure 1).
