Here we report on the production and tomography of genuinely entangled Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states with up to 10 qubits connecting a bus resonator in superconducting circuit, where resonator-mediated qubit-qubit interactions are used controllably entangle multiple operate different pairs parallel. The resulting 10-qubit density matrix is unambiguously probed, fidelity $0.668 \pm 0.025$. Our results demonstrate largest entanglement created so far solid-state architectures, pave way...

Excited states and energy relaxation processes are studied for stacked InAs/GaAs QD's with GaAs cap layers grown by migration enhanced epitaxy. Photoluminescence excitation (PLE) spectra reveal the excited state spectrum as a function of size self-assembled InAs in multilayered samples 36-ML spacers. The observed shifts splittings consistent those hole numerically calculated pyramidal supporting assignment to transition between electron ground |000〉 |001〉 state. optical results suggest...

The substrate temperature and arsenic pressure dependence of the density InAs three-dimensional (3D) islands formed on GaAs(100) is found to exhibit a behavior that cannot be reconciled within currently popular view MBE growth. Rather, either an coverage induced strain enhanced In migration or dependent incorporation at islands, both, appear operative. Plan-view cross-sectional transmission electron microscopy, including nature Moiré fringes, are used obtain cluster size distribution...

Recent studies have supported the relation between mitochondrial functions and degenerative disorders related to ageing, such as Alzheimer's Parkinson's diseases. Since these exposed need for detailed high-resolution analysis of physical alterations in mitochondria, it is necessary be able perform segmentation 3D reconstruction mitochondria. However, due variety structures, automated mitochondria electron microscopy (EM) images proven a difficult challenging task. This paper puts forward an...

The two-dimensional (2D) to three-dimensional (3D) transition in highly strained growth of InAs GaAs(001) is investigated using situ scanning tunneling microscopy and photoluminescence spectroscopy. Remarkably, structural features up five monolayers (ML) high appear at $\ensuremath{\sim}1.25\mathrm{ML}$, disappear, reappear prior the onset well-developed 3D islands 1.57 ML, thus manifesting a hitherto unrecognized reentrant behavior formation islands. results provide new insights into...

We report the first observation of lasing from vertically self-organized multiple stacks electronically uncoupled InAs three-dimensional island quantum boxes grown via molecular beam epitaxy on GaAs (001) substrates. A low-threshold current density 310 A/cm/sup 2/ at 79 K is found for a stack five sets islands corresponding to 2 ML depositions separated by 36 monolayer spacers migration enhanced epitaxy. The distribution volumes (1.5/spl times/10/sup 5/ /spl Aring//sup 3/-4 3/) gives, as...
