Abstract. Plant transpiration links physiological responses of vegetation to water supply and demand with hydrological, energy, carbon budgets at the land–atmosphere interface. However, despite being main land evaporative flux global scale, its response environmental drivers are currently not well constrained by observations. Here we introduce first compilation whole-plant data from sap flow measurements (SAPFLUXNET, https://sapfluxnet.creaf.cat/, last access: 8 June 2021). We harmonized...

Fatal injury and accidents in the construction industry occur under influence of outdoor weather conditions such as temperature, humidity wind speed all four seasons. Previous research this area has focused on hot cold conditions: causes heat rash, cramps fainting, while fatigue, lumbago, finger sensations. However, other are also associated with, cause, fatal accidents. Accordingly, study analyzes based physiological equivalent temperature (PET) it pertains to thermal comfort using an...

In the era of extreme weather events, plant resistance to excessive water should be considered for plantations in frequently flooded areas. Therefore, we quantified irrigation (REI) seedlings six conifer species on basis their morphological, physiological, and biochemical traits. Two different regimes, natural precipitation as a control treatment additional by sprinklers (30.89 ± 2.80 % above precipitation) irrigation, were applied three consecutive years. There distinct responses biomass...

Stable isotopes of water (δ2H and δ18O) are reliable tracers for the investigation plant–soil–water interactions in forest ecosystems. However, variations isotopic compositions may arise due to differences analytical instruments extraction methods. In this study, we conducted three different experiments identify caused by methodological variations. First, analyzed soil using two most commonly applied methods: isotope ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS) cavity ring-down spectroscopy (CRDS)....

Waterlogging induces oxidative damage by accumulation of reactive oxygen species due to stomatal closure. Plants alter their physiological and molecular mechanisms reduce adapt stress. This mechanism adaptation stress, known as hardening, can support future stress tolerance. Pinus densiflora seedlings were grown under waterlogging treatment for three years then transplanted another site identify the hardening effect on transplanting. Transcriptome analysis was conducted before after...

Among various vehicle extraction techniques, (Object-Based Point Cloud Analysis)...

Owing to industrialization and urbanization in recent decades, fine particulate matter (PM2.5) the atmosphere has become a major environmental problem worldwide. Accordingly, importance of air-purifying forests is increasing; however, there lack continuous long-term forest management efficiently mitigate PM2.5. In this study, we analyzed PM2.5 reduction efficiency (PMRE) by comparing seasonal concentrations inside outside for one year. addition, PMREs different types were compared, their...
