Abstract In this study, we report an ecofriendly, inexpensive and sustainable method for successful effective dye removal from aqueous media up to 90% at room temperature. Three disperse dyes were examined in study including, Red RD‐RBLS, Foron Blue SE‐2R Black S‐2B2S. The is carried out using a thiourea based low molecular weight organogelator (LMWOG) prepared (+)‐dehydroabietylamine, tricyclic diterpene, through adsorption. LMWOGs form self‐assemblies non‐covalent interactions (H‐bonding,...

Thiosalicylate anions are known for their complexing capacity towards a wide range of transition metals. We have used this important sulfur-containing anion to synthesize the task-specific ionic liquid dioctylimidazolium thiosalicylate [DOIM] [TS] via ion exchange method in two steps. For characterization we used, electron spray ionization mass spectroscopy (ESIMS), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), infrared (IR), and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). The IL was investigated removal heavy...

This paper describes the design and synthesis of an efficient galactose-triazole based reversed N-nucleoside as a thermoreversible, low molecular weight organogelator (8a). The gelator 8a showed phase-selective behavior toward ethyl acetate with respect to water. XRD, SEM, FTIR, UV results that xerogel has multilamellar structure due supramolecular forces identified H-bonding, van der Waals interactions stacking. viscoelastic was examined through rheology experiments, suggesting dominant...

Abstract This study reports synthesizing and characterizing imidazolium‐based ionic liquids (ILs) using substituted benzoates as anions. Thermal stability of ILs described thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). One inherent property is aggregates or cluster formation due to supramolecular interactions. The interaction in synthesized has been studied through Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI‐MS). potential organic catalysts investigated multicomponent reaction (MCR) urea,...

An attempt has been made to elucidate the extremely complex chemical changes that take place when gas oils (middle distillates such as high speed diesel) are subjected liquid phase homogeneous oxidative processing in presence of redox couple Co(III)/Co(II). For this purpose dilute solutions oil wet acetic acid have treated with air under carefully controlled conditions temperature, pressure and flow rate. Reaction products extracted chloroform from an ice cold aqueous solution reaction...

Indigenous diaspore is a high density hard mineral. It becomes harder on heating up to 550oC. The dispore has been characterized thermally by thermal gravimetric analysis and x-ray diffraction. Results show that the indigenous mineral increases its after at various temperatures for 1 hour. Increase in points out increase hardness due formation of more crystalline compact material corundum using as abrasive.
