Importance
Although the intent of nephron-sparing surgery is to eradicate malignant tumors found on preoperative imaging, benign masses often cannot be differentiated from tumors. However, in past there have been discrepancies reported percentages removed by partial nephrectomy (PNx).
Objective
To investigate annual trend prevalence pathologic findings after PNx and what potential factors are associated with this prevalence.
Design, Setting, Participants
A total 18...

Abstract: While zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles (NPs) have been recognized to promising applications in biomedicine, their immunotoxicity has inconsistent and even contradictory. To address this issue, we investigated whether ZnO NPs with different size (20 or 100 nm) electrostatic charge (positive negative) would cause vitro vivo, explored underlying molecular mechanism. Using Raw 264.7 cell line, examined the mechanism of as viability. We found that a viability assay, could induce...

Abstract We investigated whether stone heterogeneity index (SHI), which a proxy of such variations, was defined as the standard deviation Hounsfield unit (HU) on non-contrast computed tomography (NCCT), can be novel predictor for shock-wave lithotripsy (SWL) outcomes in patients with ureteral stones. Medical records were obtained from consecutive database 1,519 who underwent first session SWL urinary stones between 2005 and 2013. Ultimately, 604 radiopaque eligible this study. Stone related...

In this paper, we suggest a new system to estimate the direction of user's eye gaze. Our consisted five IR LEDs and CCD camera. The LEDs, which are attached corners computer monitor, make glints on surface cornea eye. If user sees center pupil is always in polygon that made by glints. Consequently, gaze can be computed without computing geometrical relation between eye, camera monitor 3D space. method comparatively simple fast. We introduce show some experimental results.
