The present research explores the productive vocabulary that beginner learners of Lithuanian as a foreign language use when speaking and writing. This study is based on newly developed Learner Corpus (LLC) uses its subcorpus texts (103,148 tokens). It measures lexical richness in learner (LLL) by examining variation, distribution word classes, errors, formulaic spoken written language. results show minimal resources, lexis used for pragmatic purposes scarcely employed either mode.
