Abstract This work examines the possible behaviour of Neanderthal groups at Cueva Des-Cubierta (central Spain) via analysis latter’s archaeological assemblage. Alongside evidence Mousterian lithic industry, Level 3 cave infill was found to contain an assemblage mammalian bone remains dominated by crania large ungulates, some associated with small hearths.
