Zn–Mn batteries with two-electron conversion reactions simultaneously on the cathode and anode harvest a high voltage plateau energy density. However, zinc faces dendrite growth parasitic side while Mn2+/MnO2 reaction involves oxygen evolution possesses poor reversibility. Herein, novel nanomicellar electrolyte using methylurea (Mu) has been developed that can encapsulate ions in nanodomain structure to guide homogeneous deposition of Zn2+/Mn2+ form controlled release under an external...

Rapid initiation of apoptosis can be induced by photodynamic therapy, depending on the cell line and sensitizer employed. In this study, we evaluated responses to two structurally related photosensitizing agents, using P388 murine leukemia in culture. Photodamage mediated tin etiopurpurin involved lysosomes mitochondria yielded a rapid apoptotic response; nuclei were observed within 60 min after PDT. A drug analog, octaethylpurpurin amidine, targeted lysosomes, membranes; not until 24 h...

Chitin is a natural biomass material with wide sources and high application potential, but the solvents for dissolving chitin are very limited. In this work, ternary alkaline deep eutectic (DESs) containing amino acids, urea, 1,8-diazabicyclo [5.4.0] undec-7-ene (DBU) were prepared, which can successfully achieve dissolution of be recycled. By adjusting type acids amount DBU, maximum solubility reach 6.0 wt %. addition, unlike reported acidic DES system, new not only efficiently extracted...

Abstract Aqueous zinc ion hybrid supercapacitors (ZHSCs) have attracted considerable attention owing to the bivalent nature, high abundance, and stability in water‐based system of zinc. High energy density superb power output can be achieved simultaneously by integrating a battery‐type electrode capacitive‐type electrode. However, there are still many issues that remain, including but not only hydrogen evolution reaction, dendrite growth, dramatic capacity loss at low temperatures. Herein,...

The aqueous zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitor (ZHSC) is a prospective energy storage device for next-generation wearable electronics due to its high safety, low cost, and density. However, the preparation of gel electrolytes reported in literature complex time-consuming, which limits their application practice. Herein, we developed robust stretchable eutectogel electrolyte through one-step gelation process situ without introducing additional initiators cross-linkers. consists ternary deep...

A generally applicable Suzuki methodology for the synthesis of β-derivatized porphyrins has been developed starting from bromoporphyrin 1, which is converted into an air- and water-stable boronate derivative. Metal-mediated cross-coupling latter compound with various aryl bromides furnishes β-arylporphyrins 2 yields similar to those reported derivatization at meso-position. The utility method was demonstrated preparation structural characterization bis-porphyrin 3, directly linked β-positions rings.
