Abstract A series of TiO 2 photocatalysts loaded with various metals (Pt, Pd, Ni, and Cu) were prepared by using the wet impregnation method. Their physicochemical properties studied XRD, BET, TPR-H , FTIR TPD-NH 3 /CO techniques. The photocatalytic activity samples was investigated in gas-phase reduction carbon dioxide under continuous flow operation mode. Among all catalysts, Pt Ni most active terms formation rate methanol. In general, modified decreased increasing metal loading reaction...

We investigate the solvent density driven changes in polymer conformation and phase behavior that occur a supercritical fluid, with particular emphasis on conditions near lower critical solution temperature (LCST) boundary. Using continuous space Monte Carlo simulations, mean square end-to-end distance (R) radius of gyration (Rg) are calculated for single chain 20 Lennard-Jones segments monomeric over broad range densities temperatures. The chains collapse as increases at constant pressure,...

Multilayer Al-CuO thermite materials are a prominent representative of metastable intermolecular composites, which characterized by outstanding energy and combustion properties. In this work, we investigated the effect total thickness multilayer material (enriched with aluminum), formed on surface sitall substrates, mode morphology reaction products. High-speed video recording from different angles allowed us not only to estimate front propagation velocity, but also visually gas evolution...

In order to expand the spectral capabilities of SERS method, Ag–Cu alloy nanoparticle arrays were studied. Arrays nanoparticles formed by vacuum thermal evaporation and condensation on an unheated substrate followed heat treatment at 230 °C. A higher Raman scattering enhancement in red region spectrum when using array eutectic system was found. This is comparable one pure silver particle blue spectrum. Transmission electron microscopy study has shown that feature many particles are...

Phase equilibria for mixtures of a polymer and supercritical solvent are investigated by means expanded Gibbs ensemble simulations. Both lower upper critical solution temperature (LCST UCST) phenomena observed such systems. A closed-loop phase diagram is systems with no specific interactions. The results our simulations Lennard-Jones polymer–solvent in qualitative agreement experimental data polymers solvents.

A newly developed self-consistent formulation of the polymer reference interaction site model (PRISM) theory is used to predict structure binary blends. Theoretical radial distribution functions are compared those obtained from hybrid Monte Carlo simulations mixtures Lennard-Jones chains. multiple time step method implemented increase efficiency simulations. We examine both cases atomic and molecular closures consider conventional PRISM. find that, overall, theoretical in good agreement with...

In this study I-V characteristic, temperature dependence of resistivity, thermopower, switching and memory effect were investigated for GST225 thin films. Resistivities, ratio the resistivities amorphous crystalline states, activation energies conductivity, phase transition, Seebeck coefficient, transition time due to transformation from OFF ON states full recording estimated. It was shown that transport mechanism based on two-channel model has a good correlation with experimental results...
